How many able bodied Chinese men have crossed our borders in the last 2 years?

I don't think that chyna has the staying power. USA would fight for years, it what you people do. chyna would fight for a month, run out of supplies, and then batch to the rest of thr world about being bullied and they need to help.
If they just use some patience the US ship will crash into something on its own - mission win for China.
My gut says cheena has been stock piling milsurps for a very long time, prepping for war with the USA.

PLA SOF are in the US. There is a lot of open source literature on their plans to use infiltrated forces to disrupt us domestically and to attack both military and civilian targets. They lifted much of this from Russian doctrine and have added their own twists to it.
In the early 90s you could walk into some Chinese restaurants near military bases and find some pretty fit dudes among the wait staff. Some of these dummies let their guard down, barged into conversations, and argued that Tianmen square was justified.
We never got a good handle on how to mitigate Soviet SOF on US Soil in the 80s until we turned out patrols composed of guys in the IRR and ex-mil volunteers under local sheriffs combined with curfews and checkpoints. Your average white or black ex military could usually smoke out a real Russian agent. But still, there was a lot of collateral damage and innocents killed as false positives. It was a mess. We also realized that many of the Russian agents would not participate due to how good the US was - they'd either lay low or turn.
Several of the Chinese staff who work for me call themselves Bananas. It took them years to get over "Mao walked on water." and really see the world. They no longer believe he invented Calculus! I bet many of the SOF here are now Bananas too. There are also a lot of kids of senior Chinese here who will not go back. I had a very sharp young lady who worked for me 25 years ago whose dad was a General in the PLA and fought in Korea. She married an American and her kids are now in college here. When Americans start getting killed on US soil, the Bananas will un peel and most of the SOF will get rounded up.
The PRC manufacturing capabilities are pretty good and outstrip ours. We won WWII based on our industrial base and that base came about because FDR abandoned the New Deal and let Knudsen from GM lead rearmament based on what Marshall and Fox Conner told him we'd need that came out of the war games done in the 20s and 30s.
The PRC does not have a ton of regulations and local rules to gum up the works. They also have national unity in their leadership and pretty good national unity domestically. The PLA is getting what it said it needs and lots of it.
That's not the case in the US.

Your opinions about our holier than thou, pure as the freshly driven snow, elected representatives, and government in general is disconcerting. They would never intentionally, over and over or continuously, straight-up lie to their constituents, other countries' citizens, and humble citizens of the United States of America. Would they? The US is in disarray, the left is fighting the right, the right is fighting the left. We have been fighting some sort of war in the Middle East since the early 90s, and most Americans are sick of another fight. China can now manufacture warships faster than the US at the rate of 3:1. We have a democratic president that can barely walk or talk, and a previous republican president that can be bought.
About the only thing saving our hides are that we are not copycats and we are more technologically advanced than them by a wide margin. Our armed forces have fought real wars compared to China's armed forces, who have been playing possum with Taiwan and others in the South China sea, with no real combat experience.
The last time China got into a fight, they got obliterated at home. They are itching to rewrite history and correct the humiliation...

Just a hypothesis; Biden sent the CIA Director to meet with PRC to negotiate real-estate sale, one island, sending Hunter would be to obvious.
