I manufactured one on a Form 1 under 21 in Arkansas. To be fair I also worked in a shop that manufactured suppressors, I'd be sure you can get a quality piece built.

The photo is uploaded and the fingerprints are sent snail mail with a cover letter. I am sending in my prints now.
It's a pretty easy process to be honest, took me about an hour to fill out including rechecking everything. We'll see how long it takes to get approved now.

I'm guessing you still have to get CLEO approval on these, do they contact them or how does that work? It's been several years since I've done a Form 1 and didn't use eForms. Thanks for the reply!
Ben
How easy of a process is the eForm compared to the Silencer Shop kiosk? Worth paying the extra $40 and waiting longer to use the kiosk? Or is it pretty straight forward?
How does the CLEO, Passport Photo and Fingerprints work with the eForms?

Mr. Dixon, how does this type of bedding fare in different types of elements? (rain, cold, hot, etc.) Just curious how it works as opposed to conventional glass bedding?
Ben
I've got mine in one of their newer Gen 4 chassis. I really like it, for a competition rig it's about perfect I think. If I was toting the gun around the woods hunting squirrels I'd want something lighter.
Ben
Nice, thanks for the reply! That's very impressive accuracy. Definitely going with keystone accuracy for this upper. Now I just need to settle on a barrel length, to SBR or to not SBR...
Ben
They wouldn't be that hard to make. I've made quite a few kydex sheaths in the past and it's a pretty simple process, lots of DIY videos on YouTube. If you're not looking to DIY, I'm sure you can find a someone to do custom kydex for you.
Ben
Thanks for the info! It's a great looking build!
Any idea what brand barrel was used on that build?
Care to elaborate? I'm certainly not going any longer than 16" but plan on shorter.
Ben
I've talked to the guy at Keystone and will likely go that way especially since he does custom configurations. I'm wanting a 10.3" barrel now as I'm planning on SBRing the lower. This thing just go a lot more expensive.
But I figure a 10.3" barrel from Keystone, suppressor and a Vortex 2.5-10...
Yes I don't mind the weight since this is going to be a dedicated precision rig, but I am wanting to keep the barrel length short at 13.7", not sure if he does custom lengths or not yet.
Ben
Aren't the Beyer barrels aluminum shrouded with a .22 lining in them? Not entirely sure if I like that idea since I plan on using a suppressor. Do you shoot with a suppressor? Any issues?
Ben
Nice looking rifle! I'm waiting to hear back from keystone as it looks like he may do custom barrel lengths from the get go. That way I wouldn't have to send my barrel off to have it shortened and rethreaded. Plus everything I have seen on them says they just flat out shoot!
