    CZ455 or 22 AR15 upper for Precision Practice

    I'd recommend 16" especially if you are throwing a suppressor on the end of it. There are several companies that make picatinny rails for the CZ. I went with DP but there are several other options on the market now. Ben

    So I have a project I'm planning and need some help making sure it's all legal. I'm wanting to take a CZ 455 barrel have it cut to 10.5" threaded for a suppressor and then a shroud welded to the barrel at 16.5" so that I will not have to pay an extra $200 for the SBR.     I've got a PDC chassis on my CZ 455, love it! If you're trying to mimic the feel of you're full sized rifle its a good option if you have a PDC chassis. I just have a stock barrel on mine but it still shoots better than I can most of the time. If you're wanting an almost exact feel I'd check...

    A properly torqued CZ will shoot really well if you spend time looking for what ammo it likes. A good bedding job would probably help it as well.
