Thanks for the link. I'll take a look there. I'd probably just opt for the stock trigger right now to save some $ on 2 kits just to get the lowers up and running. Back in the day, the Armalite NM triggers were a great low-cost upgrade for about $30 but don't know if they're still around.- drum13

Accessories LRI 18” .308 Barrel
I still have the bolt from the action that the barrel was built with so I can take another measurement picture with the bolt. Uninstalled, it appears a hair shorter than 18" so I was trying to describe it as accurately as possible to avoid any surprises for whoever buys it. Thanks!- drum13

Remington 700 mountain ss 6.5 creed
If sticking w/.308 I'd choose this for a Jr Operator... Remington 700 SPS Tactical 16.5" Barrel which will still get you out to your 550 yds. target range. Has the 1:10 barrel for 175 SMKs. The weight difference is +/- 1 lb from the Mountain Rifle and it's available in .223 which might also...- drum13
