    I ordered some 6.5x284Norma for the hunting season. Velocity pretty spot on. Zeroed rifle, changed velocity in my kestrel to match advertised drop at 800 yards. Dead on. I been taking cold bore shots when i can to confirm, I continue to be within 2'' at 800 yards.

    Another vote for JP I have owned something like 6 different brands over the years like Wilson and Larue for instance and custom 3 gun rifles. Only AR rifles I have left are JP. I own four JP's and they all are accurate, soft shooting rifles.

    If set on a AR15, i'd be looking at factory ammo. Best shooting AR15 choices shooting factory ammo are 6.5 Grendel or 224V. It's not clear to me if you have a bolt gun or not. If not, i'd forget the AR idea and look at a RPR and enroll in a shooting class to learn proper fundamentals to shoot...

    In tactical lite, you must shoot .223 In open division, 6 or 6.5 creedmoor would be good choices. If your wondering what the best built rifle is for the game, I'd recommend JP rifles

    I'm a believer as well. My wifes preceision rifle sports a Proof 6 Creedmoor barrel and we have never noticed a heat mirrage off her barrel. I'm running 3 Proof barrels on hunting rifles and giving some real consideration to a Proof gas gun barrel for my JP LPR-07.
