    MOA vs Mil

    I now really want to see a scope manufacturer offer 1/8 & 1/16 mil or 1/5 & 1/10 moa.

    MOA vs Mil

Since by your math 1 MOA subtends to 1.047 inch at 100 yards and not exactly to an equal linear measurement you really should go with IPHY turrets and reticle to be perfectly precise... Definitely the answer is IPHY.

*Rant* Why do gun "safe" manufacturers continually lie about capacities?

    American, eastern european, or thai?

.223 Wylde or 5.56 bolt action

My 223 bolt gun used a standard reamer that I then used a uni-throater on to get the throat I wanted for 88 elds and it is loaded way beyond any factory load 556 and has no pressure issues. I would probably suggest going with a 7 twist with a wylde reamer because of the longer freebore (think...

.223 Wylde or 5.56 bolt action

In a bolt action I wouldn't worry. If you are aiming to shoot light bullets the pressure difference between 556 and 223 chamberings wouldn't matter in a bolt gun. If you are shooting heavies you likely aren't using a standard reamer to begin with.

.223 chasis gun, anybody regret it?

My 223 is built on Axiom action in an Accurate Rifle Systems chassis. It is my new favorite to shoot. Am able to run 88 gr ELDM at 2820 out of a modified Accurate Mag. It is incredibly accurate and cheap to shoot.

Rifle Scopes Stepping up to a higher level in scope

I would not be afraid to check the PX. I have bought my last 3 scopes from there and had great experiences. You could probably find a Gen2 Razor in your price range. If you want a new scope, aren't married to MOA, and don't already have a wind meter I think you can still get that deal on a...

    I use a 7 twist as well.

    223 trainer and 88 eldm

Mine didnt shoot initially with my normal seating depth range 0.005 jam to 0.020 off. For first 100 rounds it wouldn't group under 1 moa. Finally backed it off to 0.035 off lands and it is easily 1/4 moa now. For your questions 2.515 coal, no idea of cbto 0.035 off lands 27" Bartlein

    Lilja versus bartlein barrels

I've owned both. They both shoot great. I have a Bartlein on now but if I found a good deal on a Lilja I wouldn't hesitate to get one again for my next build. Like b6graham said it is hard to get a bad custom these days.

    0 moa integral rail issue

Burris XTR signature rings work. They would give you up to 40 moa cant. I would definitely go with those over shims. Unless of course you really want a one piece mount. But those rings would be a good bit under $200.

Rifle Scopes Im stuck on finding correct incline for long range 22lr build

If you are using a 0 cant rail and a t5 and not using rings or a 1 piece mount with added cant you are probably limited to about 300 yards. A t5 has about 28 mil total travel and about 14 mil up on a 0 cant base. I like 50 moa bases for my 22 if I plan to shoot to 500. I have a 50 moa base and...

    223 trainer and 88 eldm

When I was putting mine together I found that if I could get over 2800 fps it would stay within 10% of the drift of my 6.5x47 with 140s at 2800ish to 1k. It is a very impressive bullet. 7 twist here

    223 trainer and 88 eldm

.274 g7 has worked well for me out to 1000. It is surprisingly competitive with 6 and 6.5s. It is pretty comparable in drift to a 6br run at mild to moderate loads.

    223 trainer and 88 eldm

I run 24.3 gr of Varget with cci 400s and lapua brass at overall length of 2.515 out of a 27" barrel and it is around 2820 based on my drop data for last couple matches. Was 2805 when I initially chronoed but has picked up a little in the last few hundred rounds. I would definitely start at...

I think that is a Redfield Palma rear. If so that would likely be a Redfield Olympic front.

Either the VA general assembly haven't ever looked at the state seal, aren't big on latin, or are arrogant enough to believe that it doesn't apply to them.

Prediction: So when do we start seeing Vudoos in the Olympics, etc?

The V-22 is a fine rifle. It is well built, it functions well, it is accurate, and easily replicates rem 700 ergonomics. It is probably the best trainer out there for people who want a rimfire that replicates their centerfire. With all that said it will likely never appear in the Olympics...

Returning to firing Rifles, need assistance

Damn, never even had mine apart. Guess I should have looked in to that. I got it eventually but it took moving my target to 30 yards to make sure I was on paper. Learned something new now.
