Rifle Scopes I'm brand new to scopes. Does this scope exist?

The SWFA SS is a great scope also. It was my first over $1k scope and I never once regretted getting it. The reticle some people love while some hate. Mechanically though mine has always performed well. The glass may be a little behind a Razor but still better than nearly anything at that price...

Calculating max moa on rail/mount for a 200yrd zero

For a RPR if you don't already have the GE I would look at a gen 2 Razor or ATACR. A lot better scopes unless you are wanting a dedicated F class scope. Lots more travel too. If those are a bit pricier than you are looking to go there are plenty of other good choices in the 1000-1500 range. And...

Calculating max moa on rail/mount for a 200yrd zero

You could estimate but you have to remember it's just an estimate. Normally on most scopes a flat rail and a 100 yard zero will put you at about midway in the range of travel. Which would be 27.5 moa for your scope. A 200 yard zero would be only a minute or so different. If you had a 20 moa rail...

Rifle Scopes I'm brand new to scopes. Does this scope exist?

Second the recommendation for the gen2 Razor with ebr-1c. They are coming down to the 1500-1600 range used.

Would black colour gears like mat, bags etc a nightmare shooting during the day time not in winter

Black fabric isn't as bad with heat as rubberized surfaces. I have a midway mat that has a rubberized surface and if you leave it in the sun it is like laying on a grill.

Living up to my name! I've got scope adjustment questions

The good news is the scope is moving the right direction. The bad news is it isn't the elevation turret that is messed up. Incorrectly adjusted parallax could affect your impacts though I wouldn't have thought by that much. Did you adjust the focus the way they recommend? It has been a while...

Living up to my name! I've got scope adjustment questions

Just to check something. When you are able to can you set up your rifle with bipod/rest and bag as solidly as possible with it aimed at a definite point and dial up 1 mil and tell us what direction the reticle moves?

Living up to my name! I've got scope adjustment questions

Definitely turning the turret the wrong way. Most scopes outside of Europe you turn counterclockwise to go up. What size target are you shooting at at 200? Like AIAW said if you are shooting a large target at 200 yards you could easily hit it at 1 mil down. How sure are you of your zero?

    SWFA SS

I definitely feel that 6x would be a bit lacking. It is nice to be able to spot splashes in dirt should you miss, and below 16x I dont know that you can easily make them out. I have 16x and 20x on my 22s and they are excellent out to 500 yards. Hope you are happy with whichever one you get. I...

Rifle Scopes Vortex PST Turret Tracking Issue...

Re: Vortex PST Turret Tracking Issue... With the elevation and windage that is being attempted and using the load for my 260 I would be unable to dial enough wind at 1430 yards with a 30 mph crosswind. I think most days like that I would just stay at home.

    Maggie’s Most impressive shot?

Re: Most impressive shot? This is my first post to the hide. I am normally more of a lurker, but I saw this and had to share my shot. I am Topstrap's son we both shoot pistols at Rayners Range here in Ohio. Early last year after having practiced a good bit I brought to Tom Rayner's...
