Tikka t3, ctr or tactical if running a suppressor????

the tikkas arent quite as stout as the 5r and not as thin as a remington varmint. Theyre there own contour but semi in between the two. The manners inlet for the varmint ctr barrel channel pretty much fits all the tikkas and remington varmint and medium palma contours.

TIS Slip Cuff Quick Release Sling - Now in Multicam

Hmm... I may need to order the newer non slip cuff. That's been my only complaint with mine. Is there anyway to order just the arm band cuff to update mine?

Sidearms & Scatterguns HELP! adjustable rear sight for kimber custom 2..cant find!

http://www.brownells.com/items/adjustable-1911-sights-kimber.aspx There's 2 novaks there that will fit. I'd honestly though sell it and find a custom 2 target. But those Novaks are fine.

Manners Elite hunter stock same torque?

65/45 is good. That's pretty much standard for chassis and stocks with pillars and bedding. Since its a bdl I would imagine it utilizes the existing screws

    Badger Mini-FTE

ive been shooting one for a year in matches. its awesome and goes on and off really easy. I had a 22 cal opened for my 6.5 and the recoil doesn't exist anymore. Accuracy shouldn't be affected but it will if you over tighten. It needs just enough to keep it tight while firing and no more.

    Benchmark Barrels feedback please

benchmarks are awesome. Mine has been shooting excellent. Price was really good from 3rd gen. This was first time out load devo. it kept every test load at .5 or better. My load stays around 1/3. I highly recommend one.

Suppressors Switch caliber suppressors. Do they exist?

Silencerco makes the 7.62 saker with 556 end cap you can switch. Can't do a 45 but 556-30cal is very doable. Maybe they'll do a 6.5 endcap in the future.

    Can a .223 do that?

I call for a thread title change vote. "Can a mini 14 hit a piece of steel at 200yds?" Cast your votes

Rifle Scopes FFP Why would one have one if?

Definitely ffp for wind alone but while coyote hunting and using just the reticle and ukd stages ffp is the only way. "Big" reticles on max power aren't that big a deal unless you're shooting benchrest. And you can get open center reticles that make it very easy to still be precise on max power...

Gunsmithing Quick question... Going to order an Bartlein barrel for an 300 WSM

It's good to go. #3 is pretty much just standard hunting contour and bartlein is an awesome maker. 10twist will cover you for a great variety of bullet weights. Only thing I'll add is maybe going heavier contour if he only hunts from a stand. It'll be nicer when just target shooting

    Can a .223 do that?

Ive noticed 223 does a lot more damage than people think to steel. its the only thing that puts dents in my ar500. We tested a 1/2" ar500 plate at 100yds with a 223, 6.5 creed, 308, 7stw, and 300wm and the 223 with just 55gr fmj left a decent dent in it while even the 7stw with a 168gr doing...

Maggie’s 9+6=15 Common Core. Are you fucking kidding me?

It seems good to you because you've learned all these things already. But imagine going back to the kids stage of knowledge. Doing 9+6 they're still on single digit addition, they probably haven't covered much subtraction, division, multiplication, algebra and what is actually being asked of...

To brake or not to brake?? 6.5 Creedmoor

Get a badger mini fte or the new apa bastard brakes that you time yourself. I've never had any shift removing and reinstalling my fte

To brake or not to brake?? 6.5 Creedmoor

I shoot most matches fully on 10-14 power and don't have issues seeing impacts. At 500 and beyond on max 18x I can still easily watch my impacts. Edit: *with brake

Hunting & Fishing Who likes shooting coyotes at 800+ yards?

I took a guess this year on one that wouldn't come in, he just sat there, and I guessed 1200yds. I missed. I only missed by about 5ft when I expected to miss by a bus length so I felt pretty good. I've only gotten actual hits to 400yds. I have a lot more success here hunting point blank in the...

To brake or not to brake?? 6.5 Creedmoor

I'd brake. I can call all of my own impacts and watch hits on animals as close as 200yds. I've got a badger mini fte and for me the shooter on hunts it doesn't blow my ears out. My hunting partners however. ..

Sidearms & Scatterguns Pistol gripping problem-help

From the photo, if you really want to control the recoil and keep rapid follow up shots then with your middle finger that grips the pistol, drive it hard up into the trigger guard. You'll know you're applying enough pressure when a calice starts to appear. Then your opposite hand goes as the...
