    What caliber for light weight bolt gun?

    I thought the same til I picked one up! Honestly there way to light for what I would want, taking long shots on game from a deer stand or the ground, weight is my friend when it comes to stabilizing that reticle. Not to mention the recoil of a 5 lb rifle

    Since I have no idea when I will get a JHR.....

    Plus one for core (Altus) buy a BA from them and choose your barrel length and all, and have it in less than a week. BTW Colby is awesome to deal with there, There staff is some of the most friendliest and honest guys you could ask for, they’ll treat you the same no matter if you’re a PRS...

    Then I’d say a dull metallic orange, also keep in mind that mine has the flat clear on it. If you were to get the glossy clear then yes i think the orange would pop out more As in brighter

    It’s no different than hunter orange vest I feel animals pick up on movement and scent and not colors so much. Of course who knows they may be thinking he’s got a copperhead stock we better go the other direction ???‍♂️
