    I have a 308 piston AR that's ~7.5lbs (without glass). POF Revolution. AR15 chambered in 308. I've used it in 3gun matches and taken it hunting. I love it. There are 308 and 6.5cm versions, and they also make it in piston and DI (the DI version is in the 6.something pound weight range)...

    I have 3 different Bobro mounts (QD, I swap scopes around). They seem to work well but that's a subjective assessment, I haven't tracked any RTZ data to back it up.

    Weather meter - need help!

    I plan to upgrade to a Kestrel at some point, but I use the WeatherFlow meter for now. I would guess that using a Kestrel is faster, as it doesn’t require establishing a Bluetooth connection (which can sometimes be finicky), loading an app and getting to the right screen, etc. I keep trying...

    I’ve been happy with my Primary Arms Platinum 1-8, and it’s within your budget. But I agree with the above that it’s not what I’d choose for bench shooting. I use it for 3gun.

    Picked up my new ZCO 420 MPCT2 today. It's my first alpha glass ever, and I think I'm spoiled for life now. Although I don't feel qualified to judge....it's amazing. Richard and Dan @CSTactical got me setup, working with them was awesome.

    AR-15 sling
