    So what would the acceptable tolerance (in degrees) be between the DOF readings on the terrapin vs the Kestrel be without losing accuracy in the firing solution...?

    About 50% of the time the reading between my Kestrel & terrapin X us about 20 degrees off... I've tried recalibrating the Compass on the Kestrel & terrapin & that helps sometimes - for a period of time...     Yep. I'm guessing if it's south African then it'll be "Rand" - the local currency. It's annotated as "ZAR"in currency converters...?

    anyone have advice on how to stop the scope rotating in the mount as you tighten the screws in the rings...? particularly for a SPUHR mount...?

    very well said! part of me was hoping NF has done their bit far as levelling the reticle to the bottom of the housing... the lesson learned here is: "hoping" isn't a plan!!

    For those with SPUHR mounts... Would you use the included SPUHR wedge to level the scope or this flashlight method...? I'm thinking the wedge would still be easier...?

    I've tried going 1/2 Mil below zero.to my stop...didn't like it. Went back to zero at the stop - as it were. I'm interested to hear others options on the matter...
