Accessories *SOLD* - NSW Hunker 1 Tents By Mountain Hardwear - New In Wrap

A couple of surgeries means I won't be using these . . . . From the SKD site: "This product was developed for Naval Special Warfare sniper/observer teams, and has never been available previously to the public in its original military Coyote color. Like most premium outdoor brands, Mountain...

    Mk18 10.3” 5.56 AR as a SHTF truck gun?

Agree w/ The King and J-huskey points above. Most people are decent and some of my best work-mates don't look like me, although: Loading groceries into the vehicle in daylight and observe scruffy, profusely sweating dude in duster-type coat (on a hot day - hands in pockets) walking at an angle...

Photos What’s your big bore caliber of choice? ?

These days, enjoy the .50 BMG for Big fun. After that - in a hunting sense: First- .416 Rigby. Used in Africa - four (4) animals / four (4) rounds. Never saw that kind of effect on game before.... Second - .375 H&H. Feels like a 30-06 after firing the .416R. Holler If you're going .... Cheers!

What are your favorite 7.62x51 /.308 semi autos

Glad to see some love for the G3. Years ago attended a DMR-type class with an HK91 using its preferred Australian ball. Was able to hold about 1.5 MOA or less to 500 using a spare HK trigger pack modified by Bill Springfield, along with the 4x Wetzlar and clamp-on mount. On another...

    carbine class gear - Help!

Good advice in this thread. . . . I would also bring some duct tape and 550 cord to keep in the vehicle in case something breaks or needs a little help. If you don't need it someone else might . . .

    Shooting mats...

Long sessions with your vehicle accessible - the Crosstac mat is very comfortable with room to work. For field shooting - a friend made for me a non-padded, roll-up type with grommets for tie-off. Handy against sun / rain also. Looks like Crosstac offers a thinly padded version as well ...
