    Which Pelican Case

    I need to check out those Plano cases. Still a bit chapped that an AI doesn't come with anything but a cardboard box. Bonus point to Rob for having the rifle right side up in the case. Amazing how many (majority?) carry around their expensive rifles and optics upside down bouncing on the scope.

    I just saw that their lowest height is as you noted over 1.5". Thats too high for my needs. They also all appear to be cantilevered which is also a problem for most anything other then an AR.

    Just wondering the pros and cons of tube diameter. Vortex uses 30mm on their top of line AMG, 34mm on the gen 2 Razor and 35mm on the Razor HD. I know smaller isn't better or we would all still be using 1" tubes but this mix of different diameter tubes confuses me.

    Did you buy it new? I just bought a new 16AT from MHSA and it has the small firing pin. I think its the only option now or at least the way it comes without specifying otherwise.
