    Get the cheek piece out and you can get the bolt back in. On the folding chassis, you'd simply fold the stock away but in your case, you have to do the former. It's only a minor inconvenience. Luckily, the bolt rarely needs to come out. Enjoy the rifle!

    Don't send it out, call Euro Optic and get one of their 6.5 CM barrels. They ship the same day typically. Get it, screw it on and shoot it. That's the big selling point of an AI.

    Can your grip be improved? I think a full size 1911 handles 45 ACP the best. Before throwing parts at it, try locking your wrists. It's free and I think it's your best avenue to achieving what you want.

    I am having the same issue with my conversion. I don't know if it's the bolt body or the magazine conversion, as I haven't given it much of a look, I was actually planning to this weekend. Is yours causing failure to feed issues?

    I didn't realize Texas did not have state income tax, that takes the sting out some. Add to that a lower sales tax and it helps a lot. I think Commiefornia is around 8.25% sales tax.
