Neck turning with a Lee Collet Die?

I am using a K&M neck turner with a carbide cutter to cut the doughnuts out. I really like it. I've used others and I wish id bought it sooner.

6mm Comp Match... Lapua .308 Palma case?

There have been studies done on small primer cases in the 46-51 grain powder weight class. I've asked this question on accurate shooter before, and I've seen the results myself. Small primers have a harder time consistently igniting slow powder especially when you begin putting roughly 50 grains...

Neck turning with a Lee Collet Die?

I went out and shot this morning. My Lapua brass I turned performed better than my Peterson brass I turned. I ended up with an ES of 24 and a SD of ~7 it was 7.1 and some change. I don't have my excel spread sheet infront of me anymore. My ES was normally in the 50 fps range, so this cut it in...

New Site, Give me a Minute

I like the new site. I'm sure it'll run better than the old one. Everything looks great. I'm sure the bugs will get worked out with time.

Neck turning with a Lee Collet Die?

Okay, so long story short. Ive been chasing Low ES numbers for quite some time now. We know that neck tension plays a large role in ES/SD numbers. For those of you who use a lee collet die, have you neck turned and seen a difference? I shoot a 6 Comp Match w/ H-1000 and 105 Nosler RDF's. I'm...

Sooo are we going to talk about the 700 PCR?

I'm sure Remington does know some of its shortcomings, though how many people here work at a manufacturing facility? Do you grasp the amount of work it is just to change a trigger? The trigger they offer works. If you don't like it. Change it. The market is literally built around the 700...

Sooo are we going to talk about the 700 PCR?

So what I'm really starting to realize on this forum is that nothing is good enough. 90% of us shoot a Remington 700 or R700 clone. Bighorn, ARC, Stiller, Surgeon, Pierce, Curtis, the list goes on. Remington is offering a decent product at a pretty good price. It seems like you guys are...

What hand or bench priming system do you use?

I ended up going the Frankford Arsenal Route and I'm glad I did. I primed about 50 cases tonight and I'm pleased with the results and how easy it was to prime the cases. Thanks for all the help fellas!

    Talk me out of wildcatting!

So the time has come to where I'm working like crazy, and its going to be that way for awhile. I'm currently shooting a 6 Competition Match chambered by LRI. Awesome shooting gun, and I love the thing, though what I don't enjoy is fireforming and the wasted time spent at the range fireforming...

What hand or bench priming system do you use?

I'm picking up a Frankford arsenal hand primer and I'm going to try it for awhile. A few guys I shoot with run one and they like theirs, so we will see how it turns out. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

What hand or bench priming system do you use?

Mine is the one that doesn't use shell holders. It uses two jaws with a spring around them. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

What hand or bench priming system do you use?

Okay, I'm looking for a new bench or hand priming tool. My universal rcbs hates holding my lapua 243 cases for some reason. What do you guys use? Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

    Decisions, decisions.....

I am currently riding the 6 competition match band wagon, and I couldn't be happier. The cartridge has been the easiest one to tune that I've ever ran. Its a little more work than a Creedmoor, but the end result is worth it in my opinion. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

    Peterson brass

On the fireforming topic. I have fireformed some Peterson 260 brass to 6mm Competition match and it was by far the best foreformed brass I've got out of my chamber yet. Especially on the first firing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
