I guess I dont know how to do that. The instructions with the die are made for folks that have obviously messed with this stuff. I bottomed out the die and sleeve, then backed off one turn and set the lockring. Im at the top set of numbers at .095 if I read it right.
And your totally right and now I feel dumb. Ok how do I make one up to set my proper OAL at 2.800" I dont have any specialty tools to set the ojive or any5hing.
Ok guys first I want to give a big THANKS to everyone that has gotten me this far! Here is where Im at. LC LR never fired/primed brass, 4064 powder, 175 gr SMK pull down projectiles. I neck sized them with Forster Ultra dies as I was instructed to do by most on here. I chucked up the the WFT...
Pulled the trigger on the Citadel last night. There the same thing as the RIA tactical but come with two mags instead of one. I got it on Gunbroker last night for south of $450 bucks. Gotta love non reserve auctions that end at 9pm on a Saturday night! LOL! I went to a gunshow today and...
I just dont wana spend Springfield or Spartan money honestly. Just gona be a plinker, no need for it to be perfect. Im pretty hung up on that Citadel. The LGS I was at sold anything from Tisas to Kimber and he said hey check out this..... Had all the nice parts, lowerd and flared ejection...
Got the itch to buy a 1911 recently and trying to scratch it. Im a Glock guy so dont wana spend a ton of cash on this venture. I was in the LGS today and handled a Citadel and man it sure was nice. He was high on it at $619, but have seen them for $500 online. Even saw some Tisas but didnt...
Ive got GemPro250 digital scale..... no chamfer/debur tools. I setup. The seating die and pressed a few dummy rounds for the kids. Might run down to the pawn shop and grab a pound of IMR 4064 or Varget since my keg of 4064 hasnt shipped yet.
Got most of my reloading stuff in yesterday so got after it. A little run down. I set up the Forster F/L sizing die according to Mtrman, wasnt hard to do at all. Neck sized 500 pieces. Put the decapping pin back in and F/L sized 39 pieces of mixed headstamp / once fired stuff I had. Then...
Aint no way I would let a crew on my place to clear cut. The land is TRASH after they leave in my opinion. Just buy some land over in East Texas....I live down by Palestine and pay $700/year on 15 acres and a 2400 sq/ft shop/apartment. I am ag though. Land is cheaper in Oklahoma or Arkansas...
I would shy away from a Jeep Jeep, maybe a Cherokee but having a pickup bed is realy handy. I would look at a Toyota Tacoma. I just bought a 2013 crewcab 4x4 and LOVE it! Ive had about 6 Toyotas since high school and they are freakin tough!
I live in East Texas. It gets hot but not too aweful cold. Property taxes high....? I got 15 acres with a 2400 square foot shop/apart ment on it and pay $700ish a year. 4 hours from the coast. Sounds like what your looking for. Land around me is getting higher but you can still get it for...
Ive heard those Whites were good boots but cant get past that "riding" heel. One thing about Danners is alot of there stuff has "made in China" labels on the inside.
Danner, lock the thread. I have had Acadias, Fort Lewis, and several style of Quarries. I always go to Cabelas and get the Quarries in the bargain bin for $125 a pair.
Well ran up on some CCI BR2 primers today so bought a couple thousand. Ill use the WLR for some plinking stuff I reload out of some randome brass I got (FGMM, Remington and Winchester). Save the BR2's for my Lake City LR brass.
Cool, Army Jerry Im kinda seeing that alot. Ive read everything I could the last week or so I been at work and that keeps popping up. I see you have Hoka Hey at the bottom of your post.....your rode that ride? Thats something thats sure in my bucket list!
Just had to share! Im stoked! Big thanks to all the folks on here that have got me this far. I know I should have just bought a pound of powder but was able to score an 8# jug of IMR 4064 today from Powder Valley. I can get 1# stuff locally for $28/# (Varget anyway) to try for kicks. I went...
