    I got a new one for xmas and so far i have only used it inside but all my other gear is in my garage and it's not insulated,does the cold weather affect them or will it work just fine as long as i give it a 30 min warm up time?

    Tried my first ladder test today,take a look

    I put some rounds together this morning to try my first ladder test.It was about 40 degrees out,wind was calm.I set up my target up at 250 to 300 yards out.I started with some hornady 168 bullets loaded from 44 to 46 grains in .2 increments with varget.I loaded the sierra 175's with 43 to 45...

    Longer magazine box for my 700 remington SPS

    I need my mag box a few thousands longer to seat my .308 bullets out farther,will it destroy my mag box if i try to lengthen it a little or should it be left alone? I think mine measured 2.845 and i would like it to be around 2.9

    I have read alot of the info already and just want some opinions on my starting load. 43 grains of varget seems to work for alot of guys loaded at 2.8 OAL ,is this a good starting point or is 43 grains varget too much to start with?Can somebody tell me a good way to tell when i have my OAL close...
