    I would be more concerned about that cleaning kit. Might want to do a little research here about that, you will do more damage to the barrel with Cleaning Kit than shooting it. Just don't get the barrel hot.

    Not sure what you want to spend on it, send it to Chad at Longrifles INC and tell him the history behind it, bet he would do you up right he likes working on the Winchester. As far as it being worth squaring up and rebarrel, best there is.

    280 AI, no doubt. It likes everything you put in it from ground squirrels to elk from 100 yards to 1500 yards.

    If you are going to tap something you could make a bushing the OD of barrel and tap it use it as a spacer to time brake it would be at least 4 or 5 threads deep not sure about looks. be better than spacers and would be flush. just a thought.

    How about 6.5 cm in AR platform, I have a POF sub MOA AR 10 in 6.5 CM, 20" Rock Creek barrel. You can have the best of both worlds. Also if you are wanting to stay in AR 15 world you should look at the 6mmX223 it is pretty impressive.

    Cleaning rod and bore guide

    I have one it is ok, be careful when cramming it in the chamber and be sure to keep patches to bore sized. It will get stuck and you will pull the end off. Also it is best used with actions without bolt release in action it has a tendency to pull the end off.

    I don't know, what's it worth to you and you promise not to screw it up. I am in Ohio working and said reamer is in Oklahoma, I will be home 8/16 so I could pack it up and send it to you then. We can work something out.

    I have a 6.5 06 AI, it is my hunting rifle. It will almost duplicate 6.5 mag. speeds. I make brass from 270 because we have 2, 25-06 so we don't mix brass.
