I’m almost done with my 20” Grendel and I did a 4.5-18 FDE LRTS. I’d do the same, or a 3-12, on an 18” just because cartridge can stretch its legs on a longer range. Coyote hunting, an offset red dot all the way for close range sneaky pete’s. My Grendel is a deer gun and I don’t plan to need...

Tuning without an adjustable gas block

    1. http://blackrivertactical.com/ Gas block insert 2. https://www.gemtech.com/gemtech-5-56-suppressed-bolt-carrier.html I have a few of these combined with BRT inserts in my defense guns. or If not a defense gun and you like a little more tunability for plinking, games, and/or hunting...

Sounds like they dodged a couple bullets, then... 🤣 And by the post above this one, sounds like they are making some headway on your upgrade. Be happy!

Have you called and talked with them?

Suppressors New Silencer! Bushwhacker 46 (Gen2) with ECO-FLOW™ technology!

The only way this could honestly look bad, is if they had db claims for Gen I, the Gen 1’s wouldn’t meter as advertised, and they then released Gen II that performed as advertised for Gen I. THAT would look bad. THAT would be shitty of them. But that’s NOT that case from any evidence presented...

Accessories WTB yeti tundra 35 in charcoal

Looks to me like the hoppers and drinkware are made in China. My 3 tundras say made in USA on them?

Accessories WTB yeti tundra 35 in charcoal

And I like Charcoal the best, myself. The new navy blue is nice, though. I have two Charcoal 35’s that I attached Tempress seat bases to the lids, for seats in my Kingfisher.

Accessories WTB yeti tundra 35 in charcoal

I thought Yeti just didn’t want to pander to the NRA demanding massive amounts of free stuff from them? Pretty sure they market to hunting crowd, that uses guns, preeettyyy heavily...

Rifle Scopes Bushnell DMR II still Relevant?

I was considering these for precision 5.56 guns, 20” barrel, always on a bipod/tripod - read: heavy precision 5.56 gun. Not a run-around SPR/recce type rife. I wouldn’t need the magnification up to 21 for 5.56 distances, so would the thick illuminated reticle work for a 5.56 precision gun at...

    Criterion CORE series barrels

Interested as well, especially the 14.5”, suppressed full time. Being thinner up front, do groups open up more as it warms up with a can on the end? I already know I want a hybrid profile for one of my more precision/recce-style builds. Was thinking about the Core for a lighter build if it...

Suppressors New Silencer! Bushwhacker 46 (Gen2) with ECO-FLOW™ technology!

This ^ is what I’ve been saying all along. I realize since I own Griffin stuff, my comments on here mean nothing. But that’s still what I said earlier in the thread. It’s just how the NFA game goes. Even within the same company producing cans. Even if it’s another company, other than Griffin...

Suppressors New Silencer! Bushwhacker 46 (Gen2) with ECO-FLOW™ technology!

Honestly guys, I’m speechless. This unneeded butthurt is unfair. If your can doesn’t perform as advertised, that’s one thing. Flaming a company for bettering their product, on their own timeline, is juvenile.

Suppressors New Silencer! Bushwhacker 46 (Gen2) with ECO-FLOW™ technology!

[Viper] Truthfully, I don’t think you have a clue how things work in real life. Do you really think they sand bagged you? You really think they purposefully held back the current technology thinking they could up-sell after the fact? Really!?! If your suppressor works as advertised when you...

Suppressors New Silencer! Bushwhacker 46 (Gen2) with ECO-FLOW™ technology!

I have Griffin stuff, so go ahead and discount my thoughts completely, but they came out with a product that people decided to buy without a gun to their head (presumably...), Griffin figured out a better mousetrap and revised it, and now you guys think they should just upgrade you for free to...

    New 6mm Advanced Rifle Cartridge

I’m doing a 20” Grendel hunting rig and was going to do a 18” ARC hunting rig - Grendel 120’ish gr for deer and ARC in the 80’ish-90’ish gr. range for varmint, but I’m going to hold off and do an 18” .223 Wylde instead of ARC. Think I’ll let ARC teeth for a bit and if it turns out to be the...

223 barrel muzzle thread option 5/8 vs 1/2

For me, it’s about choices available to me for builds I’m in the process of gathering parts for. If I can make a better decision at little to no extra cost, I’ll just do that and get’er as close as I can. Makes sense in my head, at least.

223 barrel muzzle thread option 5/8 vs 1/2

I’ve contemplated that as well. Do .308 muzzle devices, mainly 1 to 2 baffle brakes, effect accuracy on .223, 6mm, or 6.5mm projectiles? If shot only suppressed? This thread is a can of worms I’ve been thinking about for a bit here!

223 barrel muzzle thread option 5/8 vs 1/2

Does the muzzle still expand with a properly torqued and rocksett muzzle device on a 1/2-28 muzzle? I’ve been wondering that lately.
