    Drilling through back of safe

I wouldn't use wedge anchors or Tapcon bolts anywhere near the edge of a slab. Against the exterior wall I would glue in 5/8" threaded rod at least 6" deep. Darrenk75bb can probably tell us what the minimum depth should be.

    LPVO/Red Dot

I have tried LPVOs twice and came back to the MRO. You would have to have a death wish to bust doors with LPVO IMO.

    Drilling through back of safe

"The sliding doors to the backyard is also a problem, because someone can park in the backyard and use a cable winch to pull the safe wherever they want" Around here they are known to use wreckers to drag safes out. Bolts and walls are minor obstacles for a wrecker. I suspect in most cases the...

Hiding a Safe in an exposed room

Trying to hide a safe in a piece of furniture or make it look like one makes little sense to me. The average thief isn't looking for a safe.. He is looking for things that are easy to sell quick at the pawn shop like flat screen TVs. They will open drawers and cabinets looking for a TV or...

    Gunsmithing Vibra-tite Barrel Nut Ar-15

I don't see anything wrong with Odin Works system it's just a different way to skin the cat. I would use the vibra-tite they supplied and not try to second guess them.

    New 6” Python vs MR73

If you can find an older new python buy it but leave it in the box unfired. Not the one manufactured in 2020. Get a 686 to play with.

Muzzle Brake & Crush Washer questions-

I wouldn't use a crush washer on a brake or suppressor mount. Maybe on a flash hider. I use Precision Armament's ACCU-WASHER system. It's not expensive if you can find a local smith the uses them but a guy doing a one time installation of a cheap MD probably doesn't care about anything but...

Any home based FFL's here wanna help me get started?

I won't be investing in your county. I could end up with a garbage dump in one side yard, a trailer park out back and a bar on the other side. Well maybe the bar wouldn't be so bad.

Any home based FFL's here wanna help me get started?

Investigate both county and town business licenses, a tax ID # and GL insurance while you are at it. When you are done investigating you will find being a legitimate business isn't easy without sales volume. In this political environment I'll guaranty someone will turn you in. If you aren't...
