    I agree that it won't/doesn't hurt scope sales. What I don't understand is the mystique surrounding switchbarrels. You can switch barrels on a $500 Remington all day long. Re zeroing is a problem how? ....a couple shots and a couple clicks is all it takes I have a few and am building more...

    I still don't know why so many people go to such great lengths to locate the camera out of harm's way. Make a simple shield/deflector out of AR500 and put the damn camera right in front of the target. It sure makes it easier to see your holes.

    For hunting? Weatherby. Feeds like greased anything. Norma makes Weatherby brass and it's never been in short supply - even now. You'll get one more in the magazine than a RUM. Loaded ammo is surprisingly widely available.

    Build one gun and have both cartridges done w 2 separate barrels. Simple. I plan to do a 300 necked to 7mm in one barrel and a 338 Lapua in a different barrel using the same stock, action, sight system and action. I love the switchbarrel concept.

    Understood. Thank you! Bartlein likely is in the same boat. One well respected dealer told me the contour on the NA barrels is different than the UK barrels. Another told me 24" and under, NA and UK are the same but over 24", the NA barrels are similar to a Palma barrel......fwiw....

    Both units had a tendency to repeat velocity readings. In a string of 10 shots, I'd often see the same velocity 4 plus times. It's impossible to get 2611fps 5 times in 10 shots with ES of 25fps string after string. All the while I was cross referencing with a V2 and a 35P. In one experiment...
