    I hit the mover three times. Along with hitting the 1307 yard target, that was the highlight of the day for me. I think the record was 6 hits on the mover. Although a couple of folks shot it weak-side for double points, and got 3 hits on it that way.

    Jeremy Bentham was shooting a 6 SLR I believe. I shot one round with it and I'm dreaming of a 6 mm now. So much easier to shoot than my .260.

    Theoretically, you could also get a heavier contour and flute it to get the same weight as a lighter contour. Interested in reading more about the AI research. Anyone have a link to the original article?

    Hey at least you weren't the chump who hit targets 2 and 3 on the pistol KYL, but missed target 1 !! I'll be kicking myself about that for a long time to come. Lesson learnt on taking your time, even with the first "easy" target.

    Tikka CTR

    I'm running a .260 Sporter in an X-ray. Working great so far, although the Sporter stock is very nice too. I used a Tikka Performance Series 20 moa rail which comes with a recoil lug that fits the Tikka action, and Griffin Armament rings for a real lightweight rig.

    Which reticle did you get? Congrats on the 2nd place finish at TBRC. I'm running a Kahles 624i with the AMR reticle on my Tikka. Would love to look through yours at the Karstetter match.

    You cant go wrong with Southwest Ammunition - 300 Winchester. I've never tried their 300 Win mag, but their 260 remington ammunition is awesome. The 230 berger Hybrid is the highest BC bullet available in 30 cal.

    Thoughts on the SIG 3000 Patrol 24inch

    No personal experience, but Mel at snipercentral has a pretty favorable take on them - Sig Sauer SSG 3000 - Sniper Central I thought about one seriously for a while, but went with a Tikka Sporter instead - easier to get aftermarket parts for it in the US.
