Did anyone pick up a alpha dasher resizing die (they went live yesterday and sold out)

I could care less to compare both. It’s not the point

You touched a point but in the wrong way. Building a rifle with a wildcat caliber require you to select proper critical components like reamers. I don’t think it’s Alpha fault. It’s people that think they can do whatever they want without checking dimensions and think they are qualified to...

Gunsmithing Objective research on Barrel Break-in procedures

Benchmark are button( and a tiny portion now cut )...that cut vs button thing is pure bullshit and non sense. Runned both and never had copper issue when properly starting the barrel...

    6mm Dasher

So they have the same loaded OD as the Alpha. I wonder if all the issue you guys have is because you all run 0.272 or 0.2725 NK combine with an tighter FB overbore of 0.242/0.2425 and probably 0.4705/0.471 base I’m running a 0.275 NK , 0.244 FB OB AND 0.4715 Base and I have none of the issue...

Range Report ladder test & 400yd groups

    I'd re-test between 42 and 42.5 ( like 42.3gr) and do a seating depth test. Either a ladder or a 3 shot groups test from 0.035 to 0.070''.

    25 Creedmoor

My reference CBTO touching the lands* is 2.186 You simply have a lot with shorter bullet lenght. BTW there is nothing wrong with your CBTO measurments.

Time to start applying centerfire logic to .22 (was just zero, now expanded to other areas)

It’s all a great debate and surely interesting but a 25 yards zero is simply not possible for many shooter. The 22RF match we shoot it’s 50 yards to 400 yards. To have enough elevation many use a 40 to 60 moa base. I can tell you than many cannot zero a 25 and often I’ve seen people unable to...
