    Thanks. I suspect a little while means a long while. Given there is a 4 months delay in getting the action. I was going to do a 6.5 on this action, but I may just do a "budget" long range rifle and eventually upgraded the barrel.

    My tikka isn't threaded, so can't put anything on it. If it was threaded, I'd explore the tuner option you mentioned or the EC tuner brake. Local gunsmith wasn't close to $200 to thread the barrel.

    I would go savage over Ruger also. Just read too many negatives on Ruger. I know too many people with Savage guns and they shoot well enough for the most.

    Are you using shouldered prefit or nut prefit? Which barrels are you going with? I like the idea of shouldered but not sure anyone makes it for the tikka. Usually they are made for the custom actions with tighter tolerances.

    There has been alot of testing out there at 200 yards that shows ammo to be the limiting factor. Are you consistently getting sub moa at 200?
