    Any MUSTANG owners?

I have a “mid-life crisis” project going now. It’s ugly as sin, quite the turd but reminds me of when I was 16 and I love it. ‘89 fox LX, 5.3 Ls single turbo TH400, yadayadayada.

Type-s FL die runout - Help, what am I doing wrong?

After using the type s, I am now convinced that allowing the neck to not be concentric with the body is a horrible idea...that is the definition of runout basically. A non-bushing fl sizer works so well because if the machining is done correctly, the brass will be as straight as possible...

Type-s FL die runout - Help, what am I doing wrong?

Numbers up sometimes puts the bushing at a slight angle which is why numbers down works better for some people, depends on depth of stamping. I have tried every which way to get my type s dies to work, multiple steps (.005" per step max) is better but still yields runout more times than I'd...

    Redding bushings ???

I don't use mine anymore but when I did, I was never brave enough to run no lube with the nitride, so I just bought the steel. No lube also throws my HS all over the place Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk

How accurately should I be charging my loads?

Depends on where you are in node. But at 100yds you can get away with almost anything. Below is either 275 or 300yds, can't remember. Bottom of node for this load it 47.8ish, pic is 3 shots each at 48, 48.5 & 49. Other than wind, the vertical is pretty good. I don't know whether I pulled top red...

Chargemaster or beam scale? Your opinions...

Any CM guys car to share their 1,000yd+ vertical? Just curious as I never got that far with it. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk

Chargemaster or beam scale? Your opinions...

When I tried it, it almost doubled the drop time. I have a gempro as well but it's a strain gauge style so it does drift and is very slow to respond, so it's frustrating to trickle on. Now I drop ~.1gn low with PPM, tap the auto trickle button a few times, and I'm done, rinse and repeat. It...

Chargemaster or beam scale? Your opinions...

I had a CM, returned it after one use. Slow, hard to clean out, temperamental and not accurate. Went to a Lee perfect powder measure, dandy trickler on a A&D scale...faster than a CM and accurate to the kernel. My tuned M5 will move +/- .1gn depending on where the pivot is in the stones so I...

    Whats spikes pressure more?

I seat my bullets long for ftr, if I jump too much or jam with my hot load, I get similar pressure signs on my brass, fps stay in the same ballpark. Fwiw, thanks to the help of McCourt munitions, I just took a load that was multiple moa and made 1/2 moa vertical wise by going from .010" jump to...

    H4350 velocities @ temp..... data....

Just curious, are you guys using dope to back calculate fps? Since I have been using a magnetospeed chrono, I see practically no difference in a 308 using varget and H4350 from 30F to 90F. If anything, I think varget increases pressure a little when it's really cold out. PP 2000mr and a couple...

    4000mr vs H4350 fill volume

Quick question, can anyone tell me what the fill difference is (if any) for each powder, grains held constant? Thanks Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk

    Getting setup for 308...die recommendations?

What I do as well. I have tried really hard to use more expensive dies to get away from the Lee because it just can't be any good AND be cheap. No dice. I'll continue to stick with what works. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk

    2000MR w/ Berger 185gr Juggernauts

Win brass, CCI br2's 47.5, 48 & 48.5 gn 2000mr, 185 berger seated at 2.261" to ogive gave me one really good group at 250yds. 49 was out of the node. I have yet to try this powder at 1k so won't really know truly how it does until then, chrono saying just under 1fps per degree. Meters awesome...
