Agreed. Things like that take a considerable amount of time.
I think I would have waited until after the nucleus barrels and any other outstanding long lead work was completed before I took more preorders for another entirely new product. But, that’s just me and I’m sure I don’t know the...
I don’t think anyone is mad about the tripod. The timing doesn’t seem great when people are waiting 20+ weeks for barrels, I think that’s the main issue.
I love mine! I have had it for a while now and it does exactly what I want it to do. Loosens up moves around then locks so tight I know it won't slowly move like my few harris' do. Love the wide stance as well!
Also, buy a the cheapest tikka you can find with the bolt face you want, buy a Bravo stock and send the barreled action to Chad at LRI and have him put whatever barrel you want on it. There a lot of very cool ways to get you an awesome rifle.
SLR, Seekins, Midwest, BCM are all very good handguards. I have had them all. I dislike the timing of the Seekins, but the price makes up for the slight hassle. Just make sure the diameter is large enough to clear whichever gas block you as using.
Very well said! Value is even more important depending on your personal situation. Some people may have the cash for the TT, but the amount they would utilize the scope just doesn’t justify the cost delta over the Vortex.
