    NX8 4-32 and NRL22

    Only difference I can see on 4-32 vs. an ATACR ( had both at same time, side by side) is the NX8 has a VERY slight fisheye at highest powers (28-32) on the very edges of the FOV.     Push rings forward on base. Scope tries to stay in place while rifle recoils rearward.

    Looks pretty comparable to better quality 22LR as far as accuracy, but probably easier to shoot because of faster speed. I'm sure MUCH more deadly on varmints...LOL! Have you got to shoot it at any longer distances? Wonder how well it will make the transonic jump...and how far til it does? 22LR...

    Compass Lake experience

    Polish the feed lips and make sure the inserts are fully seated properly in the host mag. It's easy to have the insert slightly "off" when you install them. Good quality round nose standard velocity ammo is what these are set up for, and anything else may cause issues.

    No, Black Dog makes a magazine for the m261 conversion, a regular Black Dog Ceiner (CMMG, etc.) style mag will not work.

    10mm powder

    I shot Blue Dot in my old 10mm comp gun with 155 lead, always super accurate and very clean. Really made the compensator work well. I still have an 8 lb keg in the loading room.

    Rimfire ammo going bad

    I've got Tenex from the 80's, never stored right (in my shop, freezing in the winter, 85-100 all summer) 1/4 of the bullets are loose in the brass case. Weird looking white waxy film for lube. Still shoots a 3/8" ragged hole at 50 yards.

    I'd really like to know what the lock time on these are compared to a normal striker fired bolt gun. Has to be at least double, maybe more. Very little of the accuracy advantage of faster lock time will show up on a solid bench, but it will quickly show up in any unstable position.
