    Re: Compound Hunting Bow Mathews vs Bowtech vs Hoyt Both Bowtech and Mathews have gotten better with their laminated limbs. Before that they were pieces of fiberglass directly from Gordon Glass. OK, but certainly not as strong as laminated.

    Re: 10/22 Barrel Length I had a butler creek fluted stainless barrel on mine for years. It was very accurate but heavy. I believe it was 22". I just swapped out for a Tacsol Barrel, I think it's around 16", and have been very happy with it.

    Re: AR Optic for 16" Carbine? I had a Burris XTR 1-4 on mine and really liked it. The only reason I got rid of it was to save up for the new SS 1-6, that will hopefully get here soon. So Burris 1-4 and SS 1-4 would be top on my list.
