Our second in-house video - Atlas PSR Series Bipod Tutorial

Great looking product. One question in regards to the video, you mention stronger legs being 1/2" vs 5/8", do you think it would sound better to say that they are stronger because they are 5/8" vs 1/2"? Scott

Rifle Scopes Lowering scope 1/4 inch?

I believe you should be looking at a tapered scope base, most people using short action cartridges run. 20moa base. Scott

    Tubb T7T Trigger

I'm running the Timney 2 stage and it's decent. The last Match I was at, I tried the Tubb trigger on a buddies rifle and it was the second best two stage trigger I have used, first being Sako TRG. Just another opinion. Scott

American Rifle's M5 Bolt Action, The Mausingfield

I just picked up my action today, the fit and finish is outstanding. My build is a 6.5 Creedmoor, Huber trigger, Thunder beast suppressor, and a lot of unknowns. I have been using TRG's for years and really didn't have any interest in coming back to the Remington platform until I saw this in...

Just purchased an Anschutz 64 MPR

Thanks for all the input guys, I wanted to get an accurate "factory" rifle rather then try to build something. I went down the wrong path while searching for an accurate center fire rifle. After a hand full of rifles including a custom one I still hadn't shot an accurate rifle until I got a Sako...

    Practice ammo question

I think it is fine to use practice ammo for positional shooting, if you are shooting reactive targets like steel spinners. It might get frustrating if you are shooting paper target drills because you will be chasing your slight POI shifts with the lesser ammo. Scott

Just purchased an Anschutz 64 MPR

Thanks to you guys this addiction is now including rimfire rifles. I have been researching rifles to use as a trainer and was really close to getting a CZ 455 with a Manners stock. I have read a few posts about people "stepping up" from their CZ's to an Anschutz, and figured that I would try to...

    Removing Harris bipod rubber feet?

At this point you may have to cut the rubber feet off to get a better look at the roll pins, as they may be flaired or bent. I normally use a bench top vise with the jaws opened up slightly to hold the leg while hammering the pin through the gap. Scott

Reticle swap for Leupold spotting scope.

I called them around March of this year and that's what they quoted me. Needless to say, I didn't get a reticle in my spotter. Mine is an HD version that I picked off the Hide for around $900, it still doesn't pencil out. Scott

    what came first ???

Get the 1600b first with a $20. Ballistic app for your phone. Your'e going to get a lot better firing solution having to "guess" your environments then you will by "guessing" your target distance. I have and like the 1600b, I don't use the on board ballistic computer. Scott Edit to add...

    Digital scale recommendation

Yes. I have loaded thousands of precision rounds using a beam scale. Throw the powder a little under and then trickle up. Scott

Accuracy International, with a 6.5 Creedmoor barrel screwed on it.

    Tripod? Are they worth it

I would say it depends on your shooting location. I live in a high desert where there is grass and sage brush and very few trees. So most shots you would take in a hunting situation would be non supported. With my tripod I always know that I can take a standing shot with confidence. Just my...

Rifle Scopes Popular $800-$1500 scopes, new and used

So I sold one of my SWFA 5-20, to pick up a Bushnell XRS earlier this year. The Bushnell has good glass, but I feel like the SWFA's are better. I just picked up another SWFA, non illuminated off the classified section for $800. You just can't beat the glass and features for that amount of...

Range Report The Hornady 140 amax ammo. The OLD VS THE NEW

A quick update on the ammo I sent back for testing. It took around a month, but I got a call from the tech at Hornady who tested my batch. He was very polite and agreed that it did not fall within their standards of accuracy and was replacing my ammo and some extra, for my trouble, as I had a...
