    Buying ready-made displays as well

Re: Buying ready-made displays as well The cartridgedisplay.com link is broken. I saw the weatherby (sorry, should have said that), but only found Weatherby cartridges (go figure). The Midway link is good for a casual display, but not really something for a classroom environment. The...

    M118 LR on gunbroker

Re: M118 LR on gunbroker It's actually not that cheap! I just got a price list from the Army (I work for a .gov), since I'll be buying a bunch of ammo. The .223 was about $0.33/round-- not too bad. The .50 BMG was about $2.38/round-- again, actually pretty good. The M118LR was...

    Buying ready-made displays as well

Also, I've been looking for ready-made ammo displays. The only one I found was sold by Cabelas. Any ideas? (I really have put a bit of time into this, but have come up with only the one).

    Trying to make ammo displays

I'm trying to put together several nice-looking displays for some courses I teach, using various types of ammunition. For example, one case will be less-lethal shells, with an intact shell, and a shell dismantled above it. Another will be 40mm less lethal, with the same layout. Of course...

    Any Hide sponsors sell Dillon?

Re: Any Hide sponsors sell Dillon? Hey Chiller-- I'm planning on using the Dillon for 9mm, .40, .357, .223 and .30-'06. Those calibers are mainly for "fun" plinking or tactical training (i.e., short ranges). Volume counts most here. I decided on the blue paint because everyone with whom I...

    Any Hide sponsors sell Dillon?

Did a search, but found nothing. I'm about to order a complete reloading setup (Dillon 650 + accessories, etc.), and thought I would try to support those who support the hide. Also, I will be ordering a Forster Co-Ax, probably with Redding dies. Any favorite sponsors there? Thanks!

    Suppressors Kahr Reliability

Re: Kahr Reliability I have two Kahrs-- a PM40 and a P380. The PM40 has gone back to the factory twice for readjusting and polishing. The first time, the firearm was not able to go through a magazine without a jam (failure to feed or failure to eject). I sent it back to the factory, and...

    Help settle a disagreement

My wife and I are having a disagreement-- she thinks it's better to have a hot wife, but very little "relations," whereas I think it's better to have a not-so-hot-but-still-acceptable wife but an active "relationship." Whattaya think?

    Suppressors Pistol for wife... Suggestions???

Re: Pistol for wife... Suggestions??? My wife is 5'8", 125 pounds, and a former state champ of TaeKwonDo. When she surprised me she wanted a CCW, I took her to a friends house, and between the two of us she was able to try a 38 titanium, Kahr .380, Ruger LCP, Kahr 9mm, Glock 26 and a Kahr...

Suppressors Anyone around Chattanooga with a .338LM m18x1 can?

Let's make a deal! If you bring the can, I'll bring the ammo and a rifle to try it on. I even have some 300grain subsonics we can try as well. I'm wanting a can for a Blaser Tactical II, but having a hard time trying to decide. So, I thought about giving it a try first. Of course, while...

    Member Link Up Chattanooga area

Several mentioned Chattanooga in the middle TN thread. Anyone know of a long range in the area? The Chattanooga Rifle Club will only go out to 500 yards during matches, and 300 other times. It would be great to find something longer. I haven't been able to stretch out my .338LM.

I Touch Mounted on my rifle

Re: I Touch Mounted on my rifle I dropped my iPod once, and it stopped working. I sent it to Apple, they said I abused it, and the warranty did not cover it. I sent it to an aftermarket repair facility, and they said only Apple could fix the 2nd generation (cost $40 for that opinion). I...

    Range Report .338LM range report

Re: .338LM range report Two weeks after I bought my Blaser, a gentleman in Georgia listed the same rifle at a discounted price on Gunbroker-- go figure. That's my luck. Anyway, he has a Thundertrap for sale as well, titanium, for $1250 on a form 3. All I need is money. Unfortunately, or...
