Night Vision Mod Armorys 308 pvs-14rc

These look like the sh** to have for 308 guns using a weapon mounted pvs-14. That said I prefer helmet mounted NV and IR laser myself.. MOD armory also has the mil-spec ultra pinnacle 14 listed on their website for around the same price. I have systems with the ultra tubes and screaming high...

Night Vision Why no IIT Generation FLAG discussion?

I own a couple of L3 tubes but never seen a ITT gen 3 filmless tubes yet myself. The l3 filmless tubes are very nice image wise I really like their performance.

Night Vision Qiuck question on viewing distance with a PVS-14?

I should add maybe you should look at a IR laser instead of a eotech? I used nothing but eotech's /PVS-14's for many, many years and have spend hunderds of hours shooting such setups that said the last 12-24 months I moved over to a Eolad and D2 IR laser systems. I should have made that change...

Night Vision Qiuck question on viewing distance with a PVS-14?

At those ranges haveing the 3X lens and a IR Illum on dark nights would help alot. With the PVS-14 the 1X lens really limits you more than anything targets are very small much past 100 yards.

Night Vision Which NOD's, helmet mounts, helmets, etc.? Help appreciated here!

My favorite setup is the BNVD's and Team Wendy Carbon helmet using AKA2 mount. With this setup I can do anything from targeting with IR laser, driving ATV/Truck, use both tubes so I can walk more/drive/judge range more natural since you have depth in your FOV flip one side up for a mono allowing...

Night Vision L3 Omni VIII Mil-Spec PVS-14s now available

Tubes I bought several brand new tubes last year L3 filmed and filmless auto gated plus Pinnacle mil-spec and commerical spec. That said if ordering a tube/system not instock the only guarantee I was given was it would at least meet min specs for that tube model/type but no promises for...

Night Vision New! BNVD - Geometry Correction Mounting Block

If you have a set of BNVD's this is a must have item. I just installed the geo block on my BNVD and am very pleased at the difference it makes in eye position. Even my INVG mount works well with the BNVD now and the AKA2 gets a solid 1/2 o 3/4 inch closer to my eyes much better. The geo block...

    Night Vision "budget" thermal feedback

Ron, I haven't seen the LS64 or Thor 320 in person yet. I hope my LS64 ships soon I just ordered it last week. Really to be honest the ps32 does a great job for me but I am always looking to upgrade my gear and decided I would get a second thermal mono.

    Night Vision "budget" thermal feedback

Ron, I do like the M24 "housing" alittle better than my PS32 as it uses 123A batteries, has PVS-14 style eyepiece, and 30hz frame rate, and sort of a PVS-14 solid feel to it. That said it looks like both the PS32/M24 use the same front 19mm lens and the PS32 is a very nice user friendly...

    Night Vision "budget" thermal feedback

I have the FLIR PS32 and my hunting buddy has the M24 (640x480) thermal viewer and a Renegade thermal rifle scope. We mainly use thermal viewers for detecting varmints out hunting and then follow up with NV systems a scope or IR laser for targeting. In real hot summer weather I can tell my PS32...

Night Vision Looking for a clip on for multiple rifles

Re: Looking for a clip on for multiple rifles For you price range I would think about just buying a gen 2+ to gen 3 NV rifle scope and maybe a 223 handi rifle to mount it on for night setup. With clip-ons you just need to spend $5000 plus to get a depenable unit so if saving money is your...

Night Vision FLIR's Newest Line Thermal Imagers the LS32 & 64!

Re: FLIR's Newest Line Thermal Imagers the LS32 & 64! I don't see how the adapter work work on the ps24/32 or LS 32/64 models as the eye piece has no threads. The flir M24 should work with that adapter.

    Night Vision TM-X thermal

Re: TM-X thermal Having thermal is pretty cool.I don't think thermal is a replacement for I2 night vision but it makes a great combo having both on hand! I spot all kinds of critters with the PS32 that I scan right over with my I2 night vision. I was out this last weekend and could see field...

    Night Vision TM-X thermal

Re: TM-X thermal http://www.flir.com/uploadedFiles/Eurasi...ctors%20BST.pdf Alittle info and it is from FLIR so take that into account. There is a lot that goes into a thermal system other than just a imager alone. You have different lens ,OLED or mono chrome lcd type display, software and...

    Night Vision TM-X thermal

Re: TM-X thermal I have used the PS32 since they first shipped its a great system without a doubt and very hard to beat the price for a 320x240 imager. That said this tm-x has alot of features not seen in this price range built in SD card recording video and still picture I don't think you...
