    Riton X7 question

My second example came in. The turrets feel slightly better on the new one. Illumination is also slightly better. The battery was already installed, which leads me to believe Riton just ships them that way. Overall it's a great deal at $499. Reminds me of the Crimson Trace closeouts awhile back...

    300 Win Mag Glass Help

I'm interested in the March 3-24x52 for a new hunting rifle. Maybe consider that as well. https://www.eurooptic.com/March-F-Tactical-3-24x52mm-FML-TR1H-Reticle-01-MIL-FFP-Riflescope-D24V52FIML-FML.aspx

    Riton X7 question

I bought one (3-18x50) a few weeks ago. I'm seriously debating getting another one. I ordered a second today. It's worth the $530 (shipped with tax) I paid. A couple of negatives are that the illumination on mine isn't that great. I think these might be demos or returns as mine came with the...

Athlon FFP Helos BTR G2 2-12x42 in hand!

I understand that complaint entirely. For me, none of the rifles I'm going to use these on are impacted by that limitation.

Athlon FFP Helos BTR G2 2-12x42 in hand!

Well, you all finally convinced me that these are legit. I just ordered four to go on a few new bolt guns and upgrade a few other SFP topped ARs. I'll be curious to see what sample variation, if any, exists in these once I get them.

Update Vortex PST Gen II Battery Problem

I've taken delivery of 8 different PST Gen 2s (currently still have 4 of them) since they were first released and none of them have ever come with an installed battery or more than one in the plastic. That sounds like a return or demo unit. I never use the battery that comes with a scope since I...

    anywhere but china scope

As a general resource its good place to start, but I would recommend verifying the information elsewhere once you've identified an optic you are interested in purchasing. There are some errors in the data.

New Tract Toric 2.5-15x44 FFP/SFP scope

Reminds me of the old Sig Tango 6 2-12x40 FFP. I'd rather Tract have made this fixed parallax like the Sig and added illumination.

Any indication on what barrel profiles will be offered?

    Soon - Elite Tactical 3

Could be a 4.5-36x. If so, I'll be interested to see what they do with the reticle on the low end without illumination.

Recommendations for a 4-30x56 style scope

Thanks. Sounds like the Stryker Gen 1 may have had similar turrets to the early Cronus. From what I'm seeing reported, the new locking turrets are far better. I'm looking forward to seeing how they fair tomorrow.

Recommendations for a 4-30x56 style scope

Which generation Delta do you have? To my knowledge there have been three distinct versions of the Stryker HD 4.5-30x. Gen 1 lacked locking turrets, Gen 2 (2019) added locking turrets/rotation indicator, and Gen 2.5 (2020) changed the parallax adjustment (also changed the scope finish to a...

Not sure where that price for the Delta Stryker came from, but I just paid $1590 a few days ago.

Delta Javelin & Stryker v Athlon Ares BTR & ETR v Viper PST Gen 2

Just to clarify, the LRD-1T is only in the Stryker. The Javelin has the SMR-1 (tree MRAD) and SMR-2 (non-tree MRAD) reticles. Personally, if the OP can afford the Stryker, then that's the way to go if you don't mind the 10 year warranty headaches (I don't and that's why I ordered one a few...

    Delta Stryker

I just hit submit on the Stryker 4.5-30x LRD-1T from Darn Fine Shot. It will be replacing a Gen 1 Cronus BTR on an RPR in 6 Creed. I'll move the Cronus to my .223 Prairie Dog Howa 1500 in an HS3 chassis. I had a 1-6x in my cart as well, but decided at the last second to hold off until I chat...

Rifle Scopes Japan Optics LTD any good? Their scopes are being blown out

How the hell did I miss that!? Thanks! I've only ever used the JM-1 and had a total brain fart on the MRAD VMR-2. I'm still confident the Geissele ain't made by LOW.

Rifle Scopes Japan Optics LTD any good? Their scopes are being blown out

What other Japanese OEM is currently producing an LPVO with .2 MRAD adjustments? I've certainly never seen a LOW LPVO with them and Tokyo Scope doesn't appear to have the design capability to pull this off. I think there are one or two other small Japanese players in the low end. I'm pretty...

Rifle Scopes FYI - Athlon Ares ETR 1-10x28!

I haven't seen JOL confirmed. That's my guess since the turrets look right, but this would be the first recent JOL LPVO I've seen with .1 Mil clicks. Then again, maybe somebody like Tokyo Scope Co pulled it off. Did you see confirmation?
