Thanks Team R&B, so a 6-36x56 then? I didn't realize I was close when I guessed 5-35x56 but figured you'd put out something that could compete more with the ATACR 7-35. I do not see illumination on that so hopefully there is a model with illumination that will be released at the same time. Look forward to official specs.
For the folks having a hard time reading it, I will confirm it's 36x at the top end, but the rest of the specs will have to wait.
It's not something that stands out in the photo unless you know what you're looking at, but the updated font on the turrets is really nice in person.

I did notice that and thought that is a nice addition, I wish more manufacturers would take notice (ahem TT) and how larger numbers help us "old" folks
Could be a 4.5-36x. If so, I'll be interested to see what they do with the reticle on the low end without illumination.

Heck, it's nice for us not-quite-as-old dudes that just want to be able to read the turret easier.
Oh, I know what it is, I just can't say yet. I will say I was pretty happy with the reticle across the magnification range (all things considered).

Well that's atleast what's what I dreamt last night, so I'm taking it as a prophecy sent from the scope gods.

Honestly, I have a hard time seeing a 2-12 selling all that well, but that's just me.
I’m not sure how well they’d sell either, but “good” FFP MPVO’s are hard to come by, a Bushnell ET would fill that niche nicely. I’d sure be interested
A 4-24 would be great or even an upgraded/smaller 3.5-21 would make my day.
Right? I want some high quality mid power optics with a decent reticle option and reasonable weight. I have 2 vortex amg but prefer a horus reticle and for hunting i really only need 10-15x on high. A t3 in a 3-15 or a 2-10 would be sweet if they can get em under 22 oz and still sturdy. But thats my dream. Heh38?!?!

At that mag range, I'd want it to go down to at least 20 m parallax, or even 10 m, to be a good rimfire comp option.
I've been running the HDMR-CR on my 22, and I've had no issues with parallax on it down to 10 despite the parallax only being listed as 25.

Well looks like one of these two is definitely going to be my next scope based on prices and features.
Short answer is it's from erector assembly length & diameter. Just the way it worked out.
I assume based on this though that would mean the XRS has a larger field of view? Also will there be FDE coming?
There's a few common things on both the DMR3 and XRS3 that are changed/improved over the previous generations.
Glass & light transmission were increased 2%. Parallax was decreased from 75 to 50, and 50 to 25 at max magnification. Turret numbering was made larger and easier to read. They both get Multi-Position Throw Hammers to give you the option of placement for left or right handed configurations - DMR3 = 2-position, XRS3 = 3-position. The parallax knob friction has been reduced on both. Magnification ring friction has been reduced on both. They both are launching with the G4P reticle which is a G3 but with a floating dot and a pile of other changes - It's a .04 MIL center dot FYI. The main stadia were also decreased in thickness. They both are 'Elite Tactical' on the ocular housing now.
DMR3 builds on what we learned from the II, the Pro, and HDMR II CR. The 25-yard parallax is the biggest thing that stands out first. The diopter friction has been increased on DMR3 to help prevent unwanted movement. Same big eyebox DMR has always had. Lots of travel for rimfire use.
XRS3 is a clean-sheet design. Some design elements from XRS2 transitioned over like the turret machining looks and they both use the same Revlimiter zero stop and we brought over the locking diopter from the XRS2, but that's about where it ends. It's all-new aside from those things. Through the use of the 56mm objective we managed to keep the 'eyebox' basically the same as the XRS2 at their respective full magnifications. At 30x & below on the XRS3 that eyebox will outperform what the XRS2 had.
Those prices though - We really tried to bring ya'll some value. We'll try to give some updates on pre-orders and delivery dates as soon as we can. I'll keep answering questions best I can.

The image of the G4P reticle really doesn't do it justice. I think all of the people that complained about the thickness of the G3 reticle are going to fall in love when they see this thing in person. I was floored when I got my hands on it, and I was NOT happy when I had to give the test unit back.
They key to a 2-12 (or 2.5-15) selling well is going to be getting it stupid light and compact so the AR15 guys can run it with an offset red dot. I believe this is where things will eventually end up. Would need the scope, mounts and dot to weigh in around the 24-26oz mark from what I can gather. Basically match the weight of current 1-6, 1-8 and 1-10 offerings while giving more magnification while keeping the speed of an offset dot.
These new scopes look awesome for their design though!!
ETA the spotter looks sweet too! Like the integrated rail for LRFs and other goodies.
It looks to me that with their new features and aggressive pricing, Bushnell has just raised the bar for their direct competition.
LMSS2 is awesome for sure. Added the rails and improved the glass over the LMSS. I believe light trans went up a tad vs the LMSS, but the big change optically was edge to edge clarity/resolution. They won't really let me say how, but we did do a bunch of work there to improve that and the sharpness to the edge was greatly improved on the LMSS2 vs the LMSS. The Throw Hammer on the LMSS2 is also a nice touch for ease of mag changes but also to keep from accidentally turning the focus when you meant to change magnification.
I am very happy to see that DMR3. Travelling and on phone so may have missed it looking on your website, but does the DMR3 have locking turrets? I didn't see any mention on your website.
I hear you on the DMR3 excitement - I personally can't wait to get one on my CZ 457. DMR3 and XRS3 have locking windage turrets. Elevations do not lock.
This is actually my personal rifle in this image on the DMR3 page. It was sad giving up the DMR3 afterwards.
I can't wait to get one. I can live with locking windage and no locking elevation as long as turrets are solid. Based off previous scopes I am sure they are just right on tension. I can just write LRHSi3 on it with a silver sharpie. Looks like it will be a fine crossover hunting/prs scope.
A moving windage is personally more my concern if it bumps into something on a stage. The potential to get lost on a rotation is there more on a windage than elevation because of the zero stop. Seems like I'm always cranking elevation back down to zero just to verify I'm on the rotation I think I'm on.

The XRS3 is where its at! Completely redesigned optic, looking forward to seeing this and comparing to my XTR III 5.5-30x56.

awwwwww crap. I didn't even notice the lack of illum in all my excitement and looking at it on my phone. Damn tiny screens. That sucks. I hope it comes along in the future and soon.
Illumination I can't say. It's out there is all I know right now.
DMR3's essentially the same, but with a bunch of changes to improve optics and then the obvious parallax and outside changes like the lever. I just looked at the build/spec sheets with the product manager on the old DMR models vs the DMR3 and the FOV are identical. Not sure where the difference is coming from that you're seeing. If you can share that I can look into it and see if there's a misprint somewhere.
Is the FOV measured at 1000yards? Or the standard 100 yards?
