    C1 chiropractic

I started with a chiropractor at age 21 after a car accident. I proceeded to visit the chiropractor 20-25 times a year for the next 37 years. I finally figured out that a chiropractor was not providing any benefit (I'm a sloooow learner I guess). 4 years ago I found a NUCCA practitioner in...

    Maggie’s Motivational Pic Thread v2.0 - - New Rules - See Post #1

I never used a safety belt in tree stands when archery hunting. One day I was going out to put a hang-on stand up and thought, "I should really start using a safety belt" so I grabbed one that came with a stand and off I went. I attached the screw in steps and went up and put an eyebolt in the...

Night Vision Bering Optics Phenom 384 12µm scanner

The Hogster-R 1.4x is on my radar also for the reasons you mention. It would have a bit larger FOV than the Phenom 640 but give up a bit in clarity I'm thinking.

Night Vision Bering Optics Phenom 384 12µm scanner

I just got off the phone with a buddy and we were surmising exactly what you stated above. Thanks for the clarification. So, for coyotes, is it worth the extra coin for the 640? I think the FOV is a big deal for me, but I do not have first hand experience.

Night Vision Bering Optics Phenom 384 12µm scanner

Kirsh, I noticed the Phenom 640 FOV shown above is 13x10 degrees. The Bering Optics website shows 17x13. I've noticed this discrepancy in a few different places. Do you know for sure which it is? Did they change from 2x to 2.5x at some point and that causes the FOV difference?

Double barrel shotgun brands - your recommendations or warnings...

Check into a used Ithaca/SKB 200 or 280 series for a SxS. Mines a 200 series from the 70's. Great to carry (lightweight) and comes up much better for me than the CZ's.

Consistency in all aspects of the assembled round. Mike has you pointed to good sources. The Precision Shooting Reloading Guide had a section on benchrest that was helpful to me back in the day.

    Vacation in Washington state

I should get there next time I’m in WA. My dad hopped on a train in WI, left his wife and two small kids behind, to go to Hanford and work as an operator. He came home when his brother-in-law was killed at Anzio. Now, people don’t want to travel a couple hours from home to support a family. It...
