Night Vision Ir hunter mk ll 20mm vs 35mm

I bought the 20 mm two years ago and hunted with it 2 seasons. I found myself bumping the mag up a notch to make the shot the majority of the time. I sent it off this spring to have it bumped to the 35 mm and it's a huge difference in my eyes just playing around in the back yard. I'm hoping I...

Maggie’s New product worth checking out.

I have a guess, but it will depend on which shelf they stock it on.

    Homemade 'QD' Tripod attachment.

I started using a tripod for coyote hunting this past winter. I only use it at night and I run thermal with no lights. I found the Arca Swiss attachments difficult to get lined up in the pitch black, especially if I'm in a hurry. I "rednecked" this together in hopes that maybe some company might...

Night Vision Trijicon IR Hunter MK3 60mm

I had to install a riser to mount my MK II to my AR also. GG&G is what I went with. Works well.

    Hunting & Fishing Night Kills

Couple from last night. Ended up with 4 but shot 2 across an irrigation ditch that I had no intention of crossing to get pics.

    Hunting & Fishing Night Kills

Those cats are beautiful. I had one come in to 75 yards my last night out. I didn't get drawn for a tag this year so he got a pass but it was mucho cool.

    Hunting & Fishing Calling Coyotes

I'm just a novice coyote hunter but I don't feel that there are any set instructions that will work all the time. I prefer mouth calls over electronic but they each have their place. Some people running electronics just let them play continuously and others don't. Obviously, I don't blow my...

    Hunting & Fishing Night Kills

Crowe, I love the caliber for calling. I have 3 now. Very handy in an AR. The 65's at the speed I'm shooting them kill em like lightening and they look like they died of natural causes. No exits. Killswitch, good looking dogs/ setup. What you're doing is working well, those are good numbers. My...

    Hunting & Fishing Night Kills

Lately I've been trying the 58 VMAX for a little more speed in my night gun. I shoot the 65's in my 'day' gun ( both are 6 WOA). The 58's don't perform the same as the 65's at 3450fps. I haven't clocked the 58's but I'm either going to slow them down or just load the 65's. The brass catcher is...

    Different length buffer tubes?

I believe this to be the case. I think the spacer has been built into the tube for whatever reason. I don't believe that it's only Les that's doing this. After looking around the net, it appears that there are quite a few tubes made this way.

    Different length buffer tubes?

Yeah, the stock is on as far as it will go. I can see that it's bottomed out through the hole for the mounting screw. I've even tightened the screw down trying to make sure it was bottomed out and it's still 5/8" short of where it needs to be. I'm sure I'm missing something simple.

    Different length buffer tubes?

Are there rifle length buffer tubes that are different lengths? I'm trying to mount a PRS to my buddies Les Baer. It has a standard A2 stock on it now. The buffer tube stops the PRS about 5/8" short of the back of the lower. Does the Magpul take a special tube? Thanks, Steve.

    Talk to me about GPS.

Thanks a bunch guys. I had a couple hundred bucks worth of Cabelas gift certificates so I picked up a 62st. Now I gotta find some maps. Thanks again, Steve.
