    Pretty good day.

That's the way mine is also. Doesn't lock open after the last shot. Would be a nice addition. You are correct about the 9 round mags that you have. I only load 5 at a time anyway, so it's not a big deal to me, but it'd be nice to be able to load 10.

    Pretty good day.

Steve, I just picked the Benelli up. It's a MP95e Atlanta. It does have a slide lock and there are mag extensions to get you more rounds. The most I've seen though is 9 rounds. I haven't gotten to shoot it much yet, if it shoots better than the Smith, I'll be I impressed.

    Pretty good day.

I got to squeeze in a little shooting today before I started spoiling my wife and mom. Helps calm my nerves before the whole family shows up to trash my place.

Gunsmithing AR15--accuracy difference on reciever\handguard interface

I think that if there were an accuracy advantage to a certain system, you'd only see that one system on the firing line in competitions.

Rifle Scopes Just me venting about my inability to make decisions

I've never shot an Aimpoint of any kind, but I can tell you that the reticle on the Eotechs have a lot more adjustability for lighting conditions. Obviously people aren't having any troubles seeing the reticle on the Aimpoint either. For me, to be able to turn the brightness down low enough to...

Hunting & Fishing Predator Calling: Upgrade or not?

I would also suggest getting better at using your hand calls. Anybody can push a button on an ecaller and they all sound the same. Learn to use your hand calls, it's like playing a guitar, a lot of people can do it but few sound alike. I like to practice in my truck while I'm driving. I've been...

Night Vision Red dot at night

I'll second the need for low intensity. Most red dots are too bright in low light conditions. The dot will bloom and you won't be able to see your target. The green option of the Vortex may help. My son has a little Bushnell with a green reticle and it works real well at night. Eotechs are...
