There are 4 items you will always find on my Tikka rifles. Sterk bolt handle and shroud, I now have them on all 3 of my rifles! And Mountain Tactical trigger springs (aside from 1 Timney trigger) and their scope rails. After trying multiple other manufacturers, these are my go too parts!

Got to participate in the Hornady PRC match over the weekend. I didn't do anywhere close to where I normally do but I still had a blast. Until I got home and received the news that J Allen had to close their doors...... I'm thankful to have a few of their chassis's, if only others could...

My 22 is having the issue of the casings flipping back into the ejection port. Read earlier in the thread that the bolt face gets gummy pretty quickly on the T1X bolts. Might be the same issue we're both having?

Yes it will. I just pushed the front collet as far forward as it would go so it wouldn't be a problem. The T1X mag and release can be accessed with no problems at all. However, the pin that holds the bolt stop/release is unsupported in the chassis because it sits further forward in the T1X...

It is a J Allen chassis. The sticker price is shocking but it is worth every penny. Their gumball feature on their website let's you build exactly what you want before purchasing. I have 2 J Allen's and they are awesome!

Had some fun with the T1X in 22LR. Shooting a dueling tree at 80yds. Also, I wanted to show off the versatility of the Spartan Precision Equipment Javelin "hunting" bipod. Part 1 Part 2

The rail is long but it's awfully nice having the ability to put my bipod way out there.

I have the 5-25 on mine, and 3 of my buddies. As well, most people here in Utah use the 5-25 because the smaller targets are much easier to see at distance when we are shooting the NRL22 matches. And just because you have 25 power doesn't mean you have to use it all the time but it is nice to...

Not to point out the obvious but (My other thought was it could be how the action is installed in the chassis (I didn’t have the right size bit for my torque wrench when I installed it) thats your huge issue right there. I wouldn't do any bit of filing or monkeying around till you properly...

I had a lot better luck adjusting it down further with a Mountain Tactical trigger spring then I did with the factory trigger spring. But mine will be swapped out for a Timney in the not so distant future.

    Tikka T1X

I put my T1X into my McMillan until my J Allen came in. I had to remove some material around the bolt stop/release area and that was about it. I was using the Mountain Tactical bottom metal and it still gave me access to the mag release. I did have to remove the mag catch as that would hit...

The T1X dropped right in. The only difference is the location of the pin holding the bolt stop/release in on the T1X. The J Allen has a set screw securing the pin from backing out on the standard T3 action, but there isn't anything to support it in the T1X so you have to keep an eye on it or...
