    Oh wow, From this point of view, the 2-10 class makes a lot of sense. Same form factor as a LPVO but far less of a compromise optically. With modern offset RMR mounts, I am not sure i see the benifit of a LPVO.

    Most forgiving optic to get behind on AR

    The TA33 despite its age is a really good AR optic, Its like 8 oz, and easy to get behind, and almost poor people friendly. I grabbed a 1-8 Trijicon accupower a couple years ago, and while its a bit heavy, its easy to get behind, from what I hear, the new credo line has improved on the accupower.

    This is pretty close to where I am. I've bagged on Sigs history of product support, BUT, i really do think that Sig USA figured out who they are. While I don't have an MCX, I think they have the most refined modern AR18 on the market, and I think that says a lot considering the competition.

    I shoot leupolds and think, generally speaking, NF makes a better optic but I am not sure their optics are 500 to 800 dollars better. All of this stuff, especially high end stuff has a diminishing level of returns. Between the military and the PRS, there are a shit load of mk5's doing good...
