    For the 75-77 class mag length ammo, from 23.2 - 24.0, you should find a good load for your set up. My rifles prefer 23.3 on bare 77s through Wylde chambers.

    Lenny, I am using the Schuster bored and vented plug in my long range M1a. With a stout load of 168 Berger Hybrids the rifle runs easily and the brass is not beat up.

    My experience using the same ammo for my service rifle through the space gun, I get additional 100 FPS, or somewhere around there. There is not enough powder capacity out of the small case to expect a lot of gain. Kudos to you for getting the young one involved.

    Long Range M1A/M14 loads (600 yds +)

    Give the Berger 168 Hybrids a try. These pills set the service rifle range record at 1000 yards last year at our long range championship. The BC higher than any bullets it its class, .519 is awesome in the wind.

    IMR 4320, what's the best use

    Works great pushing the heavy loads in M14/M1 type rifles. Got the load from the late Don McCoy for the M1 Garand he built for me. 4320 pushing the 190 SMKs, in my case I am using the Berger 185 HPBT LRs.
