    Latest Hearing Protection

Ear muffs were the single biggest reason that I got into suppressors. Foam ear plugs + suppressor = great hearing protection and check weld with no uncomfortable muffs to deal with.

    Rifle Scopes Govx vortex day

I signed up to check it out; i believe a certain hide vendor has/had a special sale on the Razor 4.5-27 that beats the Govx price, but you have to call to get that price.

Rifle Scopes DMR II Pro 3.5-21x50mm

Did you get out this weekend to try it out? I’m strongly considering this as my next scope so I’d love to hear your thoughts and comparisons to others you’ve used.

last round fired is always off

That is only partially true; yes if you lift your head off the stock within milliseconds of breaking the trigger or slap the trigger your can affect the shot because you disturb the gun while the bullet is still in the barrel. Once the bullet has exited the barrel, nothing you do to the gun can...

last round fired is always off

I haven’t noticed this when I shoot my ar15s for groups, which admittedly is not terribly often. I would think the bullet would exit the barrell before the BCG locks to the rear therefore not affecting POI.

Rifle Scopes Nearly half way into the year, what scopes are you waiting on to come out or purchase?

The only one not out yet that I expect to purchase this year is the bushnell EDMR. I think it will go nicely with the AR308 I’ll be building this summer and expect the ED glass to be a worthwhile upgrade over the DMR-II.

Rifle Scopes Minox ZP Tac: any news?

Haven't heard any more on these scopes for a while. Check out post #31 in the following thread for the response I got from the boss man at Minox USA: http://www.snipershide.com/shooting/snipers-hide-rifle-scopes/242175-minox-finally-gets-into-game.html

    Buyer/Seller beware on Gunbroker

Homeboy hasn't sold a goddamn thing on gunbroker, all that positive feedback just says that he has previously paid for shit he wanted to buy. You have exactly 0 reasons to trust this cocksucker with your rifle. I know I'm preaching to the choir...

    Southwest Ammuntion Fraud

Sooo....I hadn't really planned on ordering anything from yall @ SW AMMO because I load my own rounds. But after reading through this thread I've changed my mind, I'll be ordering some .308 soon. Have heard lots of good things about SW Ammo.

    Rifle Scopes Vortex PST 6-24 EBR-2c MIL/MIL

Can't answer your questions but I too am curious if PST users think the 6-24 has enough resolution for shooting p dogs all day and at distance.

How do you pick the best ammo?

It'll say "Pretty Dang Good Ammo" on the box. I'd start with a box or two of a few different kinds to see what your rifle likes best before shelling out for a whole case. Though with FGMM you're probably safe.

    Just wondering

Yer not from around here, is yuh? If you went to high school in the USA you should get your grammar, syntax and spelling squared away before playing with firearms. If English is a 2nd (3rd, 4th whatever) language for you, forget I said anything. Quality of the barrel, chamber dimensions and...

Rifle Scopes How to zero a scope at a distance other than the distance you are shooting from

I'm with you on this, but those of us on this forum are (generally speaking) shooters first and hunters second or third. The type of guys that knowingly bring a rifle to a 15 yd range to have it zeroed are not shooters, they're the once a year hunters. I agree with everyone here and would...

Rifle Scopes How to zero a scope at a distance other than the distance you are shooting from

Thanks guys; this isn't for precision shooting - I'm sighting in hunting rifles for customers and only have a 15 yd indoor range at work. Obviously I'd prefer to do it the right way but they aren't looking for the ultimate in precision, just want to make "hunting accurate" shots. Why anyone...

So I just had to endure the dumbest shit of all time on the phone

I know I'm preaching the the choir here but if the shit is ITAR restricted, and they can't prove you are in the US, why the fuck do they allow the item to be posted for sale?
