    Opinions on new build for granddaughter

    Why does she want a 260 so much more than a 243 ? Both cartridges are really accurate and low recoil. Your talking about the same case...one with a 6mm pill, and the other with a 6.5mm pill. It's really a toss up. There's more factory ammo available for 243, but the barrel life is pretty short...

    The Bushnell is a bit larger than the NF. I run the XRS on my 260, and would put a FFP on my bolt gun before my AR. Just an opinion though.

    Buy it. I run the XRS and the HDMR on my 260 comp guns. The DMR is IMO the best optic you can get for the $$$. Glass is really good, knobs are big, which I like. Lifetime warranty, G2 reticle, good mag range, huge space between clicks. I shoot all Bushnell optics and love them. Call Scott at...

    Rifle Scopes Help choosing new scope

    24x is plenty of magnification. The clarity of glass is more important when shooting at long range. Vortex is a great company and they make great scopes. I started shooting long range comps with a 4-16 PST.
