    Possible dumb question on bullet choice (.308)

    Both of my .308 Sakos were the 1:11 twist with 26" barrels, so I assume I'm in the relative ballpark of a 1:12 minus the 8" inches extra. On my A7, it did remarkably well with 150gr Hornady interlock soft points for whatever reason out to 500yds or so and then they loss their juice. Granted...

    Follow up on that.... ^ Not sure if the Tikkas come with adjustable triggers, but my A7 did and it was a nice single stage. If you're absolutely set on a 30 cal though, at least go .308 and save yourself some hassle.

    Need higher rings for M4 - recommendations please

    I've been happy with the Nikon M223XR mount I have on my AR15. I also run Leupold PRW (high) on my AR10, but found they were a smidge low on their own and needed a rail riser. Not sure on brand or model, came on the gun when I bought it, but maybe about .25" height boost and scope sits perfectly.
