    I have 2. 289 yards on a groundhog with a Ruger 77/17. There was no wind. And a 200 yard shot on a running white tail, off hand, crossing a power line. I used the telephone poles to get my range. They were spaced 50 yards apart. Dropped her with the 300 WBY.

    In your opinion is the GR spotting scope with the TMR reticle optically better than a MK4 with inverted H32? Didn’t Leupold switch to higher quality glass in the GR?

    Thank you for that information. I didn’t know they were available with a tmr reticle. Back to the drawing board I guess. A couple hundred is worth waiting for but you reach a point where other things in life take their toll, monetarily, on the fun stuff and you have to set a limit. Like I said...

    I really had my eye on a Leupold GR but the reticle is moa. I’d prefer a mil so I’m trying to come up with options. I really like Athlon’s reticle in the Cronus T and Ares 24x eye piece. I think it would provide a ton of versatility. This will be used primarily for shooting steel out to 1000...

    If that’s the case then yes. So if his rail and mount are both 20 MOA he now has a 40 MOA slant. Replacing the mount with a 0 MOA one may fix his problem.
