    I tried my MDT 223 mag in it. It locks in the rifle, but does not feed nor allow top feeding. The bolt shroud had a full 3/8" of slop, but the recall replacement only has about 1/8". Huge improvement. I thought the bolt was broken when I took it out of the box. Glad they fixed that...
