    Ballistic software for android OS

Not sure if this is the right spot for this but..... Anyone know if they is a software app out there for the Android operating system? I know there is some pretty cool stuff for the Apple but I was looking at getting a HTC aria phone and I can't find any apps on the web.

Re: Ran out of elevation at 100 If you ship it doesn't that mean the scope rail is not in full contact with top of the action???? what Kind of shims did you use??

Rifle Scopes Ran out of elevation at 100

Re: Ran out of elevation at 100 I thought about the back wards thing so I check the rail and it measures the same at both ends. Height wise. I'm assuming the action is flat an in line with the barrel. If I turn the rail around the rear part overhangs the loading port a little so it looks...

Rifle Scopes Ran out of elevation at 100

I had my 1 year old Savage 10fp (in 308) out the other day and was working on shot groups and trigger control with a longer than usual stock. I was trying to get a decent length of pull on the rifle before I ordered a custom stock. anyway the rifle is still pretty new to me and I was just...

    Rifle Scopes Parallax Question

Re: Parallax Question OK, maybe I need to rephrase the question. How much parallax is in a high end scope? How much parallax should a high end scope have? On the SS there is a lot. On a Millet I was looking through there was not a lot of parallax because you would loose the cross hairs...

    Rifle Scopes Parallax Question

    Rifle Scopes Parallax Question

Re: Parallax Question I have adjusted the reticule using the eye piece or ocular lens. When I'm aiming I use the side focus knob. I can get a good sight picture by doing that. I know you need to keep everything centered but if I do move my head a bit its hard to tell if your not lined up...

    Rifle Scopes Parallax Question

How much parallax does a good scope have? I have a SS fixed 10 power and after getting set behind my rifle the other day I got a good sight picture and then decided to move my head around with out taking my eye off the reticule and the target. The reticule and target went way out of alignment...

How do you work up a load the right way?

Re: How do you work up a load the right way? I have a gas gun and 2 bolts I need to work up some loads for. One for High power, one for hunting and one for Long range shooting. I've really just been kinda winging it on loads by trying out loads that worked in some one elses gun. After...

How do you work up a load the right way?

What I would like to know is, when do you feel you should start trying different seating depths as opposed to faster bullets. Some folks are into the lands and some are 10 thou or more off the lands. What is the best thing to try first or is there a certain order that is best to follow?

Gunsmithing How to add length of pull?

Re: How to add length of pull? I did buy a slip on and its still not long enough. As recoil reducer I think it might be adding to the rifle not staying on target after recoil. It seems to bounce around a bit more than it should.

Gunsmithing How to add length of pull?

Re: How to add length of pull? I saw those and I was hoping I wouldn't have to drill a big hole in the stock. Besides if I used one of those I wouldn't get a chance to go out scrounging and spend hours out in the garage trying to make some thing into some thing it was never intended to...

    Gunsmithing karsten cheek piece slippage

Re: karsten cheek piece slippage I took the rifle out Monday and the inter tube tricked worked great. No slippage at all. I did have to lower the cheek piece to clean the rifle and then reset it. No problems so far. Long term I may have to replace the inter tube washers once in a while...

Gunsmithing How to add length of pull?

I have a Savage FP10 (in 308) that I put a wood laminate varmint stock on. The length of pull is way to short for me. I'm 6'4" What would be a good material to use to increase the length of pull? I'd like some thing that will be sort of easy to work with as I may have to make a few...
