    I'd say .177 and .22 are still much more common than the higher calibers. The cost of pellets, pellet availability, pellet variety, and air efficiency all strongly favor .177 and .22. Most airgun shooters shoot airguns to plink quietly in their backyards and .25 cal is a bit overkill for that...

    Is centering the reticle a pain? I ask because I'm seeing several youtube videos with a crooked reticle.

    I prefer SFP most of the time. I seldom take advantage of the FFP advantages and they usually cost a bit more than their SFP brethren.

    It is funny you mentioned the Delta Stryker. I paid the import fee for one before I even bought my March scopes. The scope I received had a very noticeable artifact on the reticle so I sent it back. Fair or not, it made me lose taste in the brand.

    Actually, I have a March 2.5-25x42 and 1-10x24 (both SFP). I like both scopes very much which is why I'm leaning so hard towards the two higher mag March scopes. The 25x mag can do the job, but at 200 yards, little .22 cal sized holes sometimes get lost.

    I can see why 34mm adjustable rings aren't widely available. It seems like a pretty rare problem that I've come across. Not many Airgun shooters x Not many who shoot to 200 yards x not many who use 34mm scope = not worth making.

    I'm thinking of purchasing one of these, but would like to see a pic of where the light is leaking in. Hopefully fixing it is only a matter of tightenin down a couple screws. Does this occur all the time or when shooting with the sun at a particular angle?

    I'm thinking I would appreciate the finer adjustment as well. The precision that air rifles are capable of is pretty astounding to me. I can defininely see how in other shooting disciplines the extra turning would be a drawback, though.

    Buying a few scopes and choosing my favorite has crossed my mind. I'm shooting paper almost exclusively. The gun is an air rifle shooting both pellets and slugs. Ranges with this scope from 25 to 200 yards.
