    Curious on this myself. Have at SR and run my 7.62 suppressor on it without an issue. Curious what you are looking to gain. Hell, if it is preference I don't see why it couldn't be done.

    Not to say it can't be done but what is the point? As mentioned above, terminal ballistics are none existent, round is dropping like a rock so again, wrong tool for the trick. Same rifle could be a tack driver at 500-600 but 1k is outside of the calibers capabilities.

    Isn't that true. I have slowly and systematically replaced all of my black rifles with the KAC equivalent. They have always done well for me and the fit and finish is top notch. Enjoy.

    Hell even at that range you'd probably go right through it. I have 1/4" plates and punched through them at 200 and even some at 400 yards. Granted you have more steel but the volcity at that range could make it happen.

    Interested in a KAC SR-15 LPR

    I too am eyeing one of these. Have the sr-15 mod 0 and love it. Something about the longer gas tube makes it a really smooth AR. The fit and finish are impressive. Just finished a SR-25 build and again am a very happy KAC owner.

    Thanks guys. Looking for a offset mini red dot. I have the Burkett gen 2 mount which will provide some protection where the durability of the leupold comes in to question. RMR is the standard but trijicons have always not been bright enough for me.
