    Origin Single Feed

American Rifle Co mags have their issues in dirt, but if you don't compete or don't mind keeping them clean, try one of them. They have a much better follower angle than most AICS clones and will single feed without the need to start the bullet in the chamber. My bro runs several Origins and...

    Brake Cleaning

Do you have a vice or other secure way of storing your rifle vertical? I put my guns in the wood vice on the end of my cheap ass Harbor Freight table muzzle down into a little jar of Bore Tech C4. There are more aggressive and faster solvents for carbon: CLR, hydrogen peroxide/vinegar "dip mix"...

    OCD Alpha Munitions Brass

The only issues I am aware of were pre-OCD and I'm not sure they were very widespread either. The OCD stuff I have is great, I'm sure you will love it.

WWI poison gas attack in MO last weekend......

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I weld occasionally and use Brakleen all the time! It's great for degreasing and cleaning stuff, killing wasps (surprisingly well), and I use it a bunch as a gun cleaner too. This makes me a little nervous about my willy nilly use of the stuff...

Rifle Competition Events PNW / OR / WA club matches?

Right now we've got dates set for 2/19, 5/7, 6/4 and a national 2 day event 10/7-8. We'll be adding a couple more, just not 100% sure on those dates yet. They will be added to our practiscore page that NiteQwill linked to above, and also on the NW PRS site here...

Rifle Competition Events PNW / OR / WA club matches?

I wish I had seen this before the match, I'm not on here as much as I used to be. We get all 4 seasons here and sometimes to the extreme. But we have bark/mulch spread around the shooting areas and also use carpet or turf to try to minimize playing in the mud or dust. We love to have new...

Need a new press for precision rifle - Co-Ax?

I currently have a MEC marksman and a RCBS Rock Chucker before that. I like the MEC overall, but I really hate the floating shell holder and I'm frequently buggering up case mouths because the case isn't centered when I work the ram. I am 90% set on a Forster Co-Ax, but just figured I'd get a...

Rifle Scopes New for 2023 Optics

PLEASE do! The competition and LR hunting crowd is dying to have a 12x (or even better -15x) RF bingo with built in ballistics

Looking for 30-40 Brass, anyone use these companies?

THIS!!!! I wish more people understood this. Once all the shortages started happening its crazy how many fake gun/ammo sites popped up. They mysteriously always have hard to find items "in stock" (often at good or great prices) but have unconventional payment options. If it seems too good to be...

    Rimfire Hit Indicators

I use them at my rimfire matches with very good results. They key is to use thin steel. 3/8" can work depending on target size and distance, but 1/4" or even 3/16" is better. The lights are also adjustable. For really long 22lr stuff (300+) I set the light sensitivity to high.

    Suppressors Hux/OSS

I don't mean to hijack this thread, but I am searching for Hux/OSS reviews and experience, specifically the RAD 22. I already have the bolt guns covered with a couple sparrows now I need one for pistols and semi auto. Im curious if the flow through design is realized on 22lr, or if the pressure...

PRS Talk Why so few tripod stages ?

This x1000. I have always enjoyed Sniper's Hide, and have learned a lot here over the years. But lately I almost don't bother checking in because of all of the terrible advice and opinions that come from people who's firearm experience is mostly digital.

PRS Talk Why so few tripod stages ?

I have a tripod stage in most of my matches. I agree that it is a real world skill that many in the competition realm overlook. It's crazy how the majority of shooters buy nice tripods and drag them around matches just to hold binos and use as rear support. But I always supply one of my own...

    Your PVA prefit experience

Emotional? Nope. Just stating my experience/facts. You are the one who had a problem with it remember? I don’t mind differing opinions, but won’t sit by when others call me out because they disagree. You do you. I’ll do me. Hopefully you continue to have success with them.

    Your PVA prefit experience

If you aren’t offended then why bother trying to debunk what I’ve said? Maybe you guys are personal friends with josh and crew, but I’ve read a LOT of issues from PVA on here over the years so don’t act like I’m the first to bring it up. I’m not going to list every barrel I’ve ever bought but...

NEW From Zermatt Arms - RimX Actions

My .02, if you’re going to be doing any positional shooting or competitions you’ll want a stock that isn’t super rear heavy. The shorter barrels on rimfire can make overall rifle balance a little harder to tune. A couple of my chassis need tons of weight out front to balance, but my KRG Bravo...
