    Sako TRG 22 Expected Accuracy?

Another update: The gun is definitely fine and is more accurate than I have it credit for. Definitely more accurate than I am. As I practice and get more familiar with the gun, I've noticed that all groups are now a tad below .5 MOA @ 100M and 200M. I even shot my lifetime best 100M group today...

Rifle Scopes Anyone understand how a S&B PMII works?

That's exactly what I'm looking for. Thank you.

Rifle Scopes Anyone understand how a S&B PMII works?

No. What I'm referring to is how resetting the zero still allows full usage of all of the travel.

Rifle Scopes Anyone understand how a S&B PMII works?

I noticed that when I resetting zero on my 5-25x56, I still had .5 mils below and 2 full turns minus .5 up. Every scope I've used in the past would only allow what's left. I know that this is normal and very awesome, but I'm wondering if anybody knows how the scope achieves this?

Rifle Scopes Zeiss Conquest 5-25 scope

I sold my 4.5-14x44 and have a 5-25x50 on the way. I'll post my thoughts once I have it. The only downside according to the specs is the heavier weight and parallax free from 50m from 30m. I compared both at a store and the glass is pretty much the same.

    Sako TRG 22 Expected Accuracy?

Great info. Just a question - is there any way to swap back and forth between two barrels, or does it have to go to a smith?

    Sako TRG 22 Expected Accuracy?

Thank you for your well thought out response, Ombre Noir. I really appreciate everybody's willingness too provide feedback and suggestions. Here are the answers to your questions: I don't have many other rifles. Just a Savage 93R17 TRR-SR 17 HMR and a Beretta CX4 in 9mm. With the Savage, I...

    Sako TRG 22 Expected Accuracy?

I'm currently running MSA Sordin Supreme Pros. They've got great sound quality but I'm planning to pair them up with Surefire Earpros.

    Sako TRG 22 Expected Accuracy?

Great idea. The recoil doesn't bother me as I'm usually able to see the impact. It's the sound that gets to me.

    Sako TRG 22 Expected Accuracy?

I am dry fire practicing for 30 mins every second day. I can keep still in these sessions, but I wind up jerking due to recoil.

Rifle Scopes Question about blurred sight via scope

Funny you should say that. I'm refocusing my reticle as I'm typing. I'm pointing at the sky and strangely, it seems all but the very extreme end is very clear...

Nope. Blinking didn't help. Maybe it was crap from other shooters.

    Rifle Scopes Parallax Question

Good point... I just checked it on a rest without any contact and I have no issues. I guess I was moving it around with my head. I guess this leads to another question: how do you check parallax when there's no rest available?

Rifle Scopes Question about blurred sight via scope

I would say it started happening after 1.5 hours. I'm not sure bust smoke/dust is distinct in that it looks grainy. This was just blurring.

    Sako TRG 22 Expected Accuracy?

Okay here are my results for the day. I'm hoping someone can help make sense of this: 100M 200M Group Size determined with a digital caliber measuring ring to ring, and subtracting 0.300". MOA is determined by taking the CTC value and dividing by 1.141 @ 100M and 2.282 @ 200M. MOA shown to...
