    Got A Few Crows

Re: Got A Few Crows The rifle is a CZ452 varmint 22lr with a Super Sniper 10x scope DIP 25MOA base, Seekins rings and a Rifle Basix trigger. The app is Clandestine Research crow calls and it is a free app. I didn't use an external speaker either, just the phone. That was the most fun I...

    Got A Few Crows

Crows were out yesterday. My Foxpro battery was dead so I downloaded a app for my phone. I set the phone up on a window of the house and just waited. The crows were several hundred yards away but they heard the phone and came in within about 50 yards. I think it worked out pretty good...

    Sidearms & Scatterguns Lansky Sharpener

Re: Lansky Sharpener I got as close to the spine of the knife as I could. I tried the short stroke method and making one long stroke. I know there are many positive reviews on the Lansky and people on Youtube like it. All I did was almost ruin knives. I even ordered the stand for more...

    Sidearms & Scatterguns Lansky Sharpener

Re: Lansky Sharpener I ordered a Lansky deluxe diamond kit a few years back. I never could get a knife sharp with that thing. I almost ruined a good Benchmade with it. I couldn't use it, my dad couldn't use it and a friend from work has got it now and he can't use it either. The problem...

Hunting & Fishing 180 Nosler Ballistic Tip vs 178gr Amax

Re: 180 Nosler Ballistic Tip vs 178gr Amax I get the need to just have one load per rifle. It just gets too confusing to have several. I have been trying to get away from the 168gr bullet and go to something in the 175-180gr range. The 168gr Amax just works for me. I guess I just need to...

    Wolf Misfires

Re: Wolf Misfires I will try to find some to post. My friend from work said he might have some he could find for me. He also said the ones he had that worked were much louder than the others he has had.

    A Pair of Tacticals

Re: A Pair of Tacticals The one is back is a A2 style stock. The total weight is 11 pounds. The front one is the light tactical A3 stock. It is 12 pounds total. Overall I like the A2 better I guess because of the vertical grip and it doesn't have the butt hook. I am not a fan of the hook.

    A Pair of Tacticals

Re: A Pair of Tacticals I got to get that fluting done sometime but I have been putting it off because I can't shoot it without the bolt? When hunting season goes out I might send it off.

    Savage LRPV Aftermarket Stock

Re: Savage LRPV Aftermarket Stock This is great news. My dad will be very pleased. He would never buy a McMillan or Manners because of cost but he might buy another B&C. Thanks for all the help.

    Wolf Misfires

I thought it was my rifle but I was talking to a friend that I had sold a few boxes of Wolf match target to and he said he had about a half box of misfires. About 2 years ago when I started buying this brand I was very pleased with how well it shot. Now things are not going as well. I bought...

    CZ 452 Varmint Misfires

Re: CZ 452 Varmint Misfires Since I have never taken the bolt apart before I can't really say what all the parts are supposed to look like. The firing pin looks a little worn but it may have always looked like that. I was talking to one of my friends at work that I had sold some ammo to a...

Hunting & Fishing 180 Nosler Ballistic Tip vs 178gr Amax

I have noticed that many .308 shooters are hunting with the Amax. I understand that both of these bullets are very capable of killing deer. All of you on here have proved that already. Why did you choose the Amax that was designed for match shooting over the 180gr ballistic tip built for...

Stevens Model 1915 Breach Loader 22LR

Re: Stevens Model 1915 Breach Loader 22LR Thanks Bunsen, from what I understand he has no interest in selling it. He only wants the value of it for insurance purposes. He was more concerned with how old it was because it was his grandfather's rifle.

    CZ 452 Varmint Misfires

Re: CZ 452 Varmint Misfires Thanks for the replies. The video was great. I took the bolt apart and cleaned and oiled everything. I tried the rifle out yesterday and it is back to normal. Thanks so much for the help.

    Savage LRPV Aftermarket Stock

Re: Savage LRPV Aftermarket Stock XLR, are you saying he doesn't have to use the center screw. If so, will that not throw the accuracy off on the rifle without it or will two screws be enough?
